Remington here......Herschel didn't get to come this time but I hear that he is sitting on a couch snuggled up to a teenager staying warm back in Ohio.
The GHL came down here with the husband for Christmas. I don't like crowds but I got to stay in me kennel when everybody came for dinner. By now (Sunday night) I am even brave enough to stay in the same room with Kate, Lucas and that gray cat named Sam that scares me almost as much as I seem to scare him Thought I would send off some pictures since Herschel told me I would have to be in charge. What pressure.
I did get to make the hike up Crowder's mountain. This is a picture of Lucas, Hannah dog, and Kate.
Kate and Lucas at the top of the mountain. They were very kind and waited several times for the GHL to catch her breath. Me, I kept up pretty well all around. Herschel will be proud when he hears of this.
Crowder's Mountain kind of sticks up from flat nothing.....
Sort of hard to tell but these rocks at the top of the mountain were interesting with the water erosion....
And then OMG it actually snowed here.....I am not a fan of snow. These short legs make it not fun. But here in Charlotte folks seemed to think it was nice, even if they didn't know how to drive in it.
Then there was the crazy Hanna dog playing with her blue ball in the back yard. She is two years older than Herschel but boy she can still move out there.
But I have to tell you, this standing out in the snow can be a little cold on the feet.
I don't care if I do blend in well with the plants......I could enjoy sitting inside with some heat about now..... My friend Mitch wouldn't make me sit out here.
But Lucas and the GHL did make some neat snow balls for Hannah. Apparently she likes to play with large snow balls in her spare time also....
And after playing hard in the snow.....Hannah got to curl up next to her girl and get warm.... Me? I snuggled the the GHL's lap so the scary gray panther cat wouldn't get me. Got to rest up. I think we are suppose to try to get back to Ohio tomorrow.....
