I live in Beaverton, OR, just west of Portland. I will take a look at the gathering in August. Mom does know she is coming along and seems to be looking forward to it. :D

P.S. I don't think I can make Bandon. I will be taking two weeks off in July to drive to Wisconsin for my nephew's wedding and to pick up my camper. Don't think I can take another week off so soon. Will keep it in mind in case something changes.

Hi Joan, and Welcome. And there is nothing too small or too big as far as rigs. We have them all. Have seen the smaller Teardrop - they are adorable - and yep, will be a breeze to take anywhere. I certainly can see the reason for one. But I'd be lost without my potty! Then again, I am full-time :) Can't wait to hear about your adventures. Wish I'd been able to share this with my Mom. Hope you two can make some beautiful memories! I should say you 3 - as our pets are integral members of our families.

Not to worry about the potty. There is a side tent that you can buy. It attaches to one of the side doors and creates about 16 sq ft of space. Perfect for the potty, portable that is. Also a great place to stand up to get dressed.

Joan, welcome to the forum! That is the neatest little rv! I've seen some on tv and in magazines but never one in person. I think with the side room attached for dressing and a potty, you'll be all set up! Can't wait for you to pick it up and add your personal touches to it...and then share the pics with us of course!!

Welcome Joan! I love your little teardrop. I saw some eensy bitsy teardrops that were designed to be pulled by motorcyles. Yours looks absolutely roomy and wonderfully appointed. You will find the most supportive and funny bunch of women here...full of advice...opinions...and oh, a very nosey bunch too (include me in that). So you'll be pushed to get those pics uploaded as soon as you can. Very cool that your mom will be joining you on the road. Once the dog realizes that the TT means no vet visit, he'll be fine...I'm doing that kind of orientation with three cats who believe that all motor vehicles portend vets or getting on airplanes to travel the world. I, too, hope to convince the fur babies that the RV is the exception to that rule! Again, welcome Joan! You're gonna love this group!
