BRRRRR Beth!!!

We might be getting some of that here too this week. ka-ka

?? If your black tank is frozen? Maybe when it starts thawing out the ice will break up and take care of the scouring out? You wont have to put a bag of ice in there this time.

Bethers,

That sure is gorgeous, but I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering if you are "in the pink" or it warms up there by noon? Our water freezes here in the am's, but it is in the 70's by the afternoon. Glad you are gettin outta Dodge real soon!

Love ya,
Sharon

Nice picture! Looks rather inviting. We're expecting 3-5 inches of snow here and then sleet, and finally, freezing rain. I'll snap a pic of Foo Foo (I nearly said MY Foo Foo, but I didn't want to start that thread again...) covered in ice and snow. I keep asking everyone here in Virginia--the beginning of the true South so I've been told--when I moved to Minnesota...cuz I sure as hell don't remember doing so. It was all of 15 (air temp before factoring the wind chill) when I left today for work. This is nuts...I'm sick of winter already!! And it's not even winter yet...

Oh, sorry, I forgot the subject here--Beth's nice rig and toad...I'd welcome you to come visit me and the fur babies in VA, but I believe it's colder here than where this lovely picture was taken. And, just to reiterate what the others said, I'd love to see the pic of you in the canoe on the table... :o :o

You can see me sitting in the kayak - in the summer - on the picnic table, here: http://ontheroadwithbeth.com/blog/2010/ ... new-kayak/

We warmed up today - into the low 30's - overnight temps only upper 20's. Well, with that came freezing rain, sleet. Some people went home early from work because of it. Those of us who stayed were given a $25 Kroger gift certificate! Plus the fact that the sleet and freezing rain had changed to just rain when we left - roads still had some ice, but most was gone. Ha - better to have stayed at work - and money for groceries.

I don't worry about the tanks freezing - as the problem has been the valves freezing. The honey wagon service hasn't been able to dump lots of folks, because they can't take the chance to break the valves. People go out there with hair dryers, etc to warm those suckers up :) They have heated tanks, and frozen valves. I think that's funny. Me, I just watch the weather - all will thaw out today/tomorrow. Then probably freeze again.

OK - I need sleep - nitey nite.

Oh, would love to visit in VA - but not this time of year :)

Lori, we are OVERDUE - we'll figure something out one day, hopefully soon.

Yeah for you Beth for staying...$25 for groceries can go a long way if you shop smart which I am sure you do. Just a few more days and you will be done!

We are counting the days we will be done with the trees. It is something that we can say we have done but don't think we would ever do again. There is too much time we have to be here and no customers...yes it means lots of time on the computer but just sitting around is getting to both of us. Oh well, only 9 days to go.

The sun is shining here this morning, hoping it sticks around for a day or two. Talk to you all later.
