My site today

OK, my neighbor took a pic of my rig and car today and emailed it to me. I've been remiss in updating my blog or downloading pics - so thought I'd share this one:

Love the snow as long as i can stay warm.

So looking forward to snow in Post Falls and Lewiston, ID in just a couple of weeks.

When are you done at Amazon? How has it worked out for you? Do you think you might do it again?

   OK...now I feel much better about being in AZ! It's not even warm in FL! Record highs here three days in a row :D When do you head out of there? I definitely wouldn't want to drive Myrtle, pulling my toad in that white stuff!

If I didn't have to inflate it to get the picture, I'd do it. But that extra time- no thanks.

My last work day is this coming Sat night. Plans are to pull out on Monday - weather permitting. This is way colder than they expect this time of year. I'd be ok with the snow more than I am the cold. Should have listened to my body and headed back to AZ then Baja for the winter. ha....

Would I work here again - probably - with some different ideas about how I'd want to do it. Am thinking it all through. Did sign up at the state park here for a site for next years season - so I guess I'm somewhat deciding to do it :)

One of the part time ladies - worked in Kansas last year - she and her husband came here this year - When I got to work yesterday I learned she had died in her sleep overnight. That's the way I want to go - but I feel so for her husband and her family. Amazon offered counseling if anyone needed it. I missed when the memorial service here would be - as the time was when I'd be working - but if it was today - I'm off and could have gone. The actual services will be in TX. Everyone was totally surprised.

Over the last weekend another lady went to the hospital with possible heart problems (family history of heart problems). I couldn't believe it - she got home on Monday and was at work Monday night! She said it was a false alarm but she doesn't take chances (2 brothers died of heart problems - one before he was 40 - the other early 40's - so I'm sure the idea scares her).

That loks just like my rig, parked in the snow. Only difference is, mine is covered and parked, yours is ready to roll as soon as you get through working. Off to "greener" pastures I hope

Seems to be a stressful time of year....I've had 3 contemporaries (my age) die this December...2 from the school system, 1 from church. Attending viewings/funerals is no fun anytime, but 3 in a row and just before Christmas is scary.

I second what Sharon said about a good picture for the calendar next year....Miss December.

Nice, picture, Beth.

Liz, when I merchandised for American Greetings we re-ordered the most sympathy cards in the month of Dec. because that when the death rate is highest. June was heaviest for wedding cards and Sept for birthdays. Funny, huh?
