hi ya ladies, got a thermos of hot chocolate if anyone wants some, little bottle
of creme de menthe in my jacket pocket if you'd like to kick it up a notch, and
since I'm done driving for the day I'm just gonna warm up here a little and head
off to bed.

Here's one of my campfires from a campsite on the East Rim of the Grand Canyon last fall, a few miles down a gravel road from Sparkle's hang-out at the Lodge. Thought you all might enjoy the fire and the view.

I spent the day just making this little RV into a home again for the next few weeks--buying a new rug for the step and a new reversable indoor/outdoor mat for outside to go with the tablecloth. There are so many Wal-Marts here compared to Portland. The closest store here didn't have the mats, so I checked the one out by my mom's and they had plenty. Although there are large grassy areas here, especially down the middle of the park, the sites have only gravel. So, with the addition of my chairs, table for outside propane stove, and a footstool, this place is looking better and better.

What's the count on beer now? 101 bottles? Let's make it 100. Hope you all had a wonderful day.

Great pic, Chris,....but better not stagger too much with that beer off the wall,....that first step over the edge would be a long one! :D All kidding aside, that's a wonderful campfire and view,... I'm hoping to get out that way eventually, but for now I'll be working for a while yet.

Ahhhh, I love that campfire and view. Can't wait to get that way again.

I was supposed to spend some time today working on taking out some patio bricks and rearranging them - as well as removing some of the grass to put in some others - to extend my patio a couple feet. But it rained off and on yesterday and overnight and was supposed to continue this morning, so I wimped out. Did go in and get my haircut - and am leaving in a few to go out to dinner with another single lady here. Then we'll have a couple beers - so I'll grab 2 for us now and put them in a cooler for later :)

Leaving 98 bottles of beer at the campfire.

Having hostessed a really fun "Cave Woman" party this weekend (and it rained all night long!), so we didn't get to have a real campfire...so, I'll snuggle up to that fire there and snag a beer too!

98 bottles of beer on the wall, 98 bottles of brew!

OOOh mornings are getting cooler. Threw my sweats on and threw more wood on the fire, ah that's better. Sitting now with hot chocolate flavored coffee and a warm cinnamon roll. Help yourself, there's plenty of them. Sure looking forward to sittingn around the fire with some of the ladies in November.

I think I'll have some hot chocolate w/butter schnaps in it. Tastes like butterscotch and mmmmm good! Bet ya can't drink just one cup of cocoa! Oh, sugar free of course.

Glad you are back Fernie. Sounded like you were having a great time at the RVW.

Alright, I'm having a rough day, so I'll take 2 of those beers and chug them down! That leaves 96 bottles on the wall.

Fernie, Welcome back and looking forward to pictures. I have been working in the yard so think I will have a glass of Cedars white wine and some cheese and crackers. I have never heard of butter schnapps but sounds wonderful in hot chocolate. My gd gave me a bottle of sweet red wine for my birthday. It was Cagnina di Romagna (pronounced (ca-nee-na) and very good with chocolate. I seem to love anything Italian and chocolate. ;)

Throw another log or two or three or four on the fire, bake me up another pot of beans. Take a beer down off that wall and take a big swig! 95 bottles of beer on the wall. AHHHHHHHH Now that hit the spot. Hmmmm I think I'll grab another one, 94 bottles of beer on the wall.

Well we went camper looking and drooling. But we only drooled a little while. Found a couple of real beauties and was excited until I checked the dang weights. sheesh GVWR 7,??? with a dry weight of 5,???. Sure aint gonna carry much with that. ~sigh~

Oh well there's always more to look at. :D

What has everybody been up to today. Come on, tell all. Fess up.
