Famous???

Well, probably not, but I did get my picture on the internet! BF and I did a Toys for Tots motorcycle run yesterday. It's a joint effort by California Hiway Patrol and Bob Force racing. A photographer was there from the Orange County Register and he took a picture of me and our riding buddy looking at a car. He got our names and told us we might make it into the paper but for sure our picture would be on-line. We didn't make it to the paper, but that's ok. We had a great time there, saw a million cars and got to tour the Force Racing museum. He's one of my favorite draggers so it was quite a thrill to meet him in person and see his cars close up. Really glad that we went, probably won't have this next year as Force is moving to Indiana next year. The day was chilly and we ended up getting rained on for the ride home, but that's what rain gear is for, so all in all a wonderful day. Next Sunday we're doing the HA (Hells Angels) toy run and that one is always fun, plus they feed you for the entrance fee. Some of you know me, if food is involved, I'm there!!

I have Marines in my family, and the Marines do the "Toys for Tots" every year here and most places, I think. So glad to hear other organizations do this too.
You really did do good Sharon, helping to make children somewhere happy on Christmas morning, Thank you!!!!!

Sharon, I didn't even notice that you called him Bob, I was thinking where in the heck did Mitch get that from. Ronnie used to watch his tv show where his daughters were racing, plus his name was on the building in the pic, right behind him.
