Welcome !!! We're almost neighbors, I'm just inside N.C. Glad to have you here, hope your travels in your new rig are all that you all hope for. If you ever take a day trip or week end, I have room to park, and would love to meet you. If you don't know my area, would love to show you. Welcome, welcome to this crazy, but wonderful bunch of ladies, think you'll find its the best decision you've made in awhile.

Safe and Happy travels

Welcome aboard Lynn. My tired brain saw the TN and sorry to say without my morning tea it took me a minute to understand why I coudn't see the post I thought I put up last night. Now you may never have a problem with stuff like that but it always gives me pause......as one of the forum sisters reminds us..."Operator Error!" So welcome and I look forward to seeing you along the way either at the imaginary campfire or out in this beautiful country of ours....so many roads and so little time.... :)

Grew up in your neck of the woods, Etowah. Love Chattanooga. I'm in FL for the winter but will be back in TN for a few days around Christmas. Would love to meet you all. Have fun in the keys, I was there April-June this year. It's wonderful, just like this forum. And the ladies are terrific. Enjoy and Welcome.

Welcome, Lynn and Kay :D I love the Chattanooga area! Beautiful! Seems I was a year too early for everything. I was in FL last winter and in the Keys in Jan. Wish I was there this year  Hope the weather is much warmer for you when you're there than it was last year  We had record lows in Key West and wind chill factors :o I thought it was going to snow! Did have some nice days and, luckily, I had been there the winter before and had gorgeous weather. Looking forward to pics of you two and your pop-up on your adventures!

Welcome Lynn and Kay,

I'm just now catching up with the newbies. I'm stil a newbie myself. Didn't join here till last April. Wantd to buy a TT, hadn't pulled one before although did have a popup with my folks. Had pulled numerous boat, snowmobile etc. trailers. Asked a lot of questions, got a lot of different answeres But also a lot of great ideas, suggestions, help etc. Have gotten to know the in's and out's of this group pretty well now and all I can say is they are the most caring people in the world. So ask all the questions you want. Somebody always knows something to add to the answers. And join us aruond the Campfire. Always a lot of discussing going on there. If you are an early riser. Morning Coffee is another great place.

I found my TT, made 6 trips (short 2 day) camping on my days off from my job at a local state park and love it. Hope to be able to take it on a longer trip eventually to see if I want to RV perhaps part time or something. LIve in MI and love it here, so don't want to relocate anyplace else. Still like winters, so haven't had the bug to snowbird yet. At least till March anyway.

Going to enjoy hearing of your RV adventures and seeing pics once you learn how to post them here.

Extending another warm welcome to you.
I'm not too far from you either - north central Alabama.
You should be able to meet several members on your trip thru FL this month; think we have several members spending the winter there plus at least two who live in FL.
Looking forward to meeting you in not too distant future and to reading about your travels.

Lynn and Kay...If you have a kayak, take it with you! Lots of great kayaking in FL. If you get close to Liz, there is also the Rainbow Springs State Park. It's at the head of a beautiful spring fed river. Liz and I paddled together there. I bet she would love to show it to you ;) If you don't have your own, you can rent kayaks. Wish I was going with you to the Keys. I got to go the past two winters and loved it! I have friends who live/work at Jolly Roger RV Park in Marathon. Nice people! Where are you staying?
