Interesting day today - Updated blog - many different things to do in Vegas. Play with a machine gun. Work with lions. Inspect race cars.
Tomorrow starts NASCAR week in Vegas and Thursday starts the National Rodeo Finals. All kinds of people in town.
Went to dinner with our oldest son and wife-to-be. Very fun day and nice evening.

I love it. I'd love to see that exhibit. And all the rest. Haven't been to Vegas for awhile, not since rving. Guess I need to quit bypassing the city- specially since I have a friend there. Putting it back on my list of go to places for sooner rather than later.

I finally talked DH into Vegas and we went a couple of years ago coming back from a family reunion.

He was so surprised to find out there is lots to do.

We loved the 4 stories of M & M store.
Then the coke store with the different flavors you can try,

I'm another who consciously avoids big cities, including Vegas. I might have to rethink that...I see I'm missing a lot. Enjoyed the tour....thanks. I love your blog.

I have not been there in maybe 18 years when I was in a clown convention... it was one busy place and not just the casinos... the food was great too and the shows were good if you picked the right ones... it most likely is not the same city... enjoy your visit...

Ah, yeh, Kathleen?...spill, spill!!

As vor Vegas. When I was there about 12 yrs ago, I stayed in a hotel where the MGM was easily seen across the street and up a bit. For some reason Flamingo Rd comes to mind. Anyway, there I saw allot of trash laying around the streets/sidewalks and flyers with nekked women etc among it and nailed to telephone poles etc.
Then Vegas started losing $$ and decided to make it family friendly and since has built it up to be like an amusement park. I'm sure the nekked women are still there, tho. :o

Thanks for the tour.
It has been thirty plus years since I was there. Not sure anything left I might recognize today.
