Updated the blog a couple of times with some pictures of the SkyJump on the Stratosphere and our drive through Red Rock Canyon Park.

We went to the top and watched those nuts riding everything. Can you imagine how it looked from up there :o  The roller coaster takes off FAST and comes to an abrupt stop with all hanging out with nothing but air beneath them  One of the rides seats you in a circle, starts spinning then the floor drops out  :o I read a few months later that the roller coaster was stuck in mid air for several hours. Thank you but I don't need the thrill and I might not have a change of panties with me

Your pics remind me of Valley of Fire, one of my most favorite State parks. When I was working in Mesquite every one that came to visit me I took to Valley of Fire and they were duly impressed (hah didnt take much). I probably wouldnt have gone here if it wasnt recommended by a friend on the ORS forum that used to live in St. George. Thank goodness he told me about it.

From the sound of your title, I thought you had a scary ride thru the snow! Was all worried!
I love the red colors on the rocks up there! And the rounded shapes too! Still have to go thru all my 1300+ photos of our trip out here and get them on-line. Took a ton of pics of the red rock formations tho!

No thanks on the Skyjump!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Carolyn,
Would you believe the jump is on Ron's list of things he'd like to do!
