Good morning Ladies!
Hoping each of you have a great day!
Kathleen we have good friends who are from Cullman and their daughter still lives there. Another RV'r that I follow is also in that area this Thanksgiving holiday with her son and family. Very small world.
Woke to more snow this morning. Supposed to warm up and get rain tonight. We are still waiting for our trees to get delivered. Will be sometime on Friday ~ the snow and bad roads delayed them. We have decided to just take it easy today as we know we will be having some long days beginning tomorrow.
Spent about an half hour with hubby in bed this morning listing all the things we are thankful for. There are lots of things/reasons for our thankfulness. God is good and we are loved by Him and many others.
We have duck marinating and will put it in the crock pot about noon. It needs to cook for 5 hours so we will eat about 5:15 or so. Sure hope it tastes good. Never have cooked a duck before though we ate it once at a friends. Also making stuffing, mashed potatoes w/gravy and green beans followed by pumpkin pie.
Echo, good luck with your turkey in the crock pot...I don't even think a 10lb would fit in my crock pot and don't recall ever seeing one much smaller than that. A friend suggested cutting one in half and baking it laying down in a 9x13 pan. Will think on that and maybe do one later next week.
Ron is watching football and I am just goofing off on the computer. Whatever you all are doing...be safe doing it and have a great day!
