I think WickedLady might be right...bet you have an electronic ignition on the furnace.

The battery takes care of that - in all rigs I've ever been in. I'd say it's a problem with the battery - but it's starting the generator - so must not be that either.

Have had another great day... am in Camden Tn at my friend Janie and El's such a nice visit we are having... with Shadow we count 10 dogs in the house... and Janie is immaculate... I will stay here until Tue morning and then not exactly sure where I will head... am a bit to tired to know tonight...





and no they are not all tiny...



They actually sing then take a nap... now that was so funny but did not get a picture of the event!!

Monday and I had breakfast and coffee made to order... wow Janie is treating me like royality... home made biscuits, gravy, bacon, peach jam, and all the coffee you can drink... so so so good...
I will be here today visiting with everyone and enjoying the warm weather... the dogs are all 10 of them taking naps... they are all rescued dogs so they all want attention...

Kat, you are just across the river from where I spent my summer. Johnsonville State Historic Area. Blue Marlin is very nice, you should take Mitch up on her offer, that is if it hasn't expired yet.

'Twas the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and' Kathleen was in an old abandon camp ground just off 65 about 20 miles from Alabama... I left my friends yesterday noon... Shadow was sad to bid his 9 buddies and 3 humans goodbye but the time had come... went to Auto Zone and they checked out my coach battery... nothing wrong with it... got 4 light bulbs at a cost of $24 yikes that is expensive... spent an hour there... my girlfriend Janie said you must take 412 it is soooo beautiful... well it may be beautiful but on two lane roads with trucks pushing you and trucks coming at you it was not as nice as I would have liked but we made it to 65... down 65 a way we went... looking for a rest stop poor Shadow was in dire need of one... none to be found but we did find a truck rest area and pretended to be a truck just long enough for the little guy to relieve himself... then on the road again... I was getting tired so looked for a camp ground... wow there is one off this exit...



Wow this is perfect even a heated pool... drove into the 'camp ground' must be farther in.... but...

there that must be where the heated pool is!!



Shadow looked at the grass and leaves and said this is just fine with me!!





we settled in for the night!



Morning dawned bright and cold!





We bid you farewell old abandon campground and will we be back who knows...
(they want us to come back... wow)




so here I am in this abandon camp ground... overgrown grass and leaves... this must have been a nice one in it's time but now it is nothing... even the pads were invisible... so boon docking in the weeds it is for us tonight... it got quite cold last night it was mid 40s inside here... when I got up I just turned the thermostat on and bang bang bang wow wow wow it ran... now Beth why didn't it do that before... but I did have to turn on the generator to make coffee a bit later and check in on my great unseen friends... You are all great... will leave in a while for Cullman and find a camp ground to spend a few days... more later everyone...

Hello from Cullman Alabama...
I being the lazy bum I am went to bed last night at 6 read a while and fell asleep.... did not get up until 7 this morning... it rained all night... my windows are all fogged up now... must figure out how to prevent that...
Yesterday was so nice... Wendy came early I am so glad she did we visited a while... then I took my shower and got dressed lazy I am... then Sarah came bringing goodies for us all... Shadow got a nice bone and one for the afternoon... Wendy and I got a bar of soap (oh oh was she telling us something ha ha ha) it was made in Huntsville... now how will I ever use it it is a special treat to read the packing... I will put it on my sink counter...







We had a wonderful meal Wendy bought the appetizer home made dip and chips; Sarah bought pumpkin roll filled with cream cheese, nuts, dates (no not the male kind ha ha ha), we had turkey and mashed potatoes (all prepared by the chefs at Hormel and Bob Evans) and salad prepared by Kathleen... we gabbed and gabbed some more (sound familiar Beth) why do we have so much to visit with when these are strangers.... not really we know them by their writing of their trials tribulations and good times... what a wonderful privilege we have to know so many faraway and near friends through this forum... we are all so blessed...
Today is a day to prepare for the drive tomorrow... dump tanks get a little fresh water and maybe straighten up a bit...
