Friday...wooo hooo.. it's Morning and we are staying home !

Friday Wooo hooo...It's Morning and we are staying home ! Our weekend with family has been called off with the bad weather setting in... being we would be with all the critters and the heavy rains called for and possible winds..it's not a good thing to drive the rig loaded with the critters to be there...Instead we will have a GTG next weekend and most likely from all it will be here ...My family is good about understanding making changes..as for me I have to think about my kids (fur babies) . So our phones were busy.. but that's how things go.. Plans with me are always understood .. they are in Jello..giggle here and there..but if I can I will..but if I can't I won't .. LOL plain and simple... but one thing.. I will be Missing in Action here... I have way too much that has to be done and I'm on a rather hectic schedule... Had to order another Freezer for the rig.. so that will be in next week..and then it's get the car serviced and beginning to prepare foods to be froze for DH.. So today instead of me just relaxing.. I'm making 16 quarts of Soup..and then on to Chili, and then Oven Stew... I vacuum seal all the stews and chili.. as it's easy for DH to just come home and plop it in boiling water.. the heat and eat.. other things he can do on weekends..but during the week it's a little crazy for him..and he works long hours..

So this will be a so long for awhile for me..I'll miss you all but like I said, when I can I'll post..but right now I have too much that has to be done..and my stamina is not great... I'm having to pace myself and it's taking longer and longer..

Look at it as a Sabbatical...long needed..and I just need to get my health somewhat up to par again.. I've arranged for help down at the house in Florida .. so that will be great..I'm really looking forward to just enjoying everything around me..

My email will be open so those that care to can drop me a note or if you see me logged on thru my Messenger services.. say "Hi".. and again.. I'll post when I can... and am anxious to hear about your GTG's.. and I'll hopefully make the ones that will be in Florida..

Now it's not a Good Bye.....I'll be back.. but just a needed long break from everything..

Ok, I'll blow my nose and wipe my eyes.. and prepare that pot of delicious coffee for those that care to join me.. Echo, you are in my prayers dear.. I pray that you and Kelly will find a better job..and get some time in your life to enjoy..cause dear, not that I'm the grim reaper..but chit happens.. I know !

For all my Morning partners.. My table is always open....and before you all know it.. .I'll be back.. and full of the mischief I've been known for...

So now remember this is not Good bye..but So long for awhile...

Geez, Barb......looks like lots of work for you in the next few days......Yes, you do need to take it slow in your prep to leave......Don't you dare wear yourself out. Wish I was closer so that I could help you cook stuff!!! But, know we are here, if you are in need of a break......Mornings will be a little harder without the coffee table, so don't be gone too long.....will e-mail, etc....just to check in on you.....

Holy smackers! Mornings without coffee with Barb'z??? How will I ever manage to start my day off on the right foot? We understand Barbz everyone needs a break. Be easy on yourself and don't wear yourself to a frazzle getting everything ready. Ya do that and all you will be able to do once ya hit Florida is try to relax and catch your breath. ?? Well I do guess that is the whole idea of it anyway, huh? LOLOLOL We will miss your cheerful smiling words in the morning tho!! You must be pretty much done with all the doc appointments by now. Except the best one. The dentist...... grrrrr I hate dentists. Take it easy and I will be shouting at ya.

I'm telling ya the weatherman simply is off his rocker! They have been saying that we are gonna have a "cool front" come thru with chillier temps and rain. Hmmmm it was 58 out on my back porch this morning with a nice slight breeze. ??? What the heck happened to the 38 degrees? Think they got it backwards????

Well it's that time and I need to get it in gear. YUCK work. I still say I need to win the lottery!!!!

Barb, I know how it is when LIFE gets in the way of what you like to do. Like others have said, pace yourself & take care of yourself. Don't overdo! My DH would laugh his head off if he saw my writing that! I'm the world's worst at "overdoing'. LOL! But I will miss the AM Coffee Chat too. I may not post every day, but I do read it to see what's going on. I'll be glad to see you back when you have a chance.

Cindy's surgery went well and the doctor is optimistic. Granddaughter has another junker so she will be able to get to her classes, I hope. Barb, pace yourself, sounds like you are going to be very busy.

Certainly understand - but there's no doubt in my mind you'll be missed, my friend. Yep, you just come on in and post when you can - cuz you know - you are a valuable member of this forum - and we'll be just as happy to see a post from you in any of the other rooms on occasion when you have time to say hi.

Course, we'll all look forward to any days that you might have a moment and pop in with your morning cheer. Like the others, I don't always post to your morning posts (I often don't see them, like today, till afternoon) but I ALWAYS read them. Can't tell you how many times I discover something was said that I missed and I have to go looking for the thread to catch the whole thing.
