I am pretty sure that B41 will be taken by a friend of mine from the Port Angeles area.

We are Bullards Beach regulars. Will pencil in these dates and see what else pops up. If you have any questions let me know we have been camping here for over 15 years. :D

Glacier,
Right now I'm wondering what route to take over from I-5 coming down from Portland way? Any suggestions? I don't care to cut over in Portland using 26. That's always chaos, I think, and I'd rather try making the trip all in one day and feel too much coast driving will slow me down.

Come down I 5 all the way through Roseburg and follow the signs to Winston and the Ocean Beaches. It will be Hwy 42. You hit 101 about 20 miles north of Bandon. You will come to Bullards Beach before you get to Bandon. It is on the right just before you go over the Bridge. It is well marked and pretty easy to find. Hwy 42 is an easy drive. Looking forward to meeting folks

I will have to think about this and talk it over with DH.
High School football will have started so it I did it...it might be a girls weekend thing. We might rent a Yurt for a couple of days..vs me towing down the trailer...as I do not know what trailer we will have. We are downsizing this spring. We only have 2-3 kids with us now. No need for an TT that sleeps up to 10 anymore.

I do know we are looking at going smaller..so we can get into state/national parks easier.

Kris, would love to meet you! Hope it works out.

Today I visited my Little Missy. With several weeks of freezing temps I wanted to see how the new battery was holding up. She fired right up! Good girl.
It was so cold at the storage that the seats were like sitting on a brick! I remember those days well when we lived in AK. NO THANKS!
Sitting in her sure made me dream of Spring/Summer! I'm so ready for a new season in my life.

Getting the "Hitch Itch" with this sunny weather. Really looking forward to the GTG. Looks like my friend from Pt.Angles won't be able to make it.

Hi all,

I have some news. Some of you might already know this so sorry for repeating. I have sold my Roadtrek, it only took 24 hours on craigslist. The plans I made fell through, long story. I have returned to Tri-Cities, WA and purchased a 34' fifthwheel to live in full time. I have to go back to work in order to survive. I have had to cancel my reservations for our outing to Bandon which saddens me as having to sell my motorhome. I do not own a truck so I am stationary. I would like to stay in touch if that is still allowed although I am not traveling but let me know. I was let go of the Roadtrek forum immediately. I have had some hard times this past week moving in, frozen pipes stuff like that. Still trying to get used to being alone and figuring things out by myself, it is a slow processes. Sorry to run out on you.

Linda, sorry you have been having some problems and won't be able to meet the great ladies at the gtg. You are always welcome here, whether you are traveling or not, heck some ladies haven't experienced the purchase of their first rv, but we all love the lifestyle and have dreams, help each other out, learn from each other and support each other. Just keep posting and joining in on the discussions!

Yup, what Vickie said. And so sorry about the Roadtrek...I know how much you loved it, but glad you were able to sell quickly when you needed to. That's one good thing about the RTs, they hold their value and are in demand. Do keep in touch and let us know what you're doing. Hope it warms up beyond freezing pipe problems soon.
