MONDAY AGAIN

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

MONDAY AGAIN

Postby Colliemom » Mon Nov 15, 2010 8:24 am

Morning everybody,

Another Monday already! Seems like it was just Monday last week.

Faint sun in the sky this morning. A skiff of snow pellets on my deck this morning. Supposed to be partly cloudy for the most part, high in 40's. Other than possible snow showers, still no threat of snow yet. I can remember years when we could have a foot on the ground by now.

Didn't do a darn thing yesterday but kind of loaf around. Church, Walmart and home. Took my furbbabies for a nice walk in the woods before it started to rain. Read a few threads on this site and the other one. Read the paper. Was going to work in kitchen, but couldn't get motivated. Maybe today.

Got my mug shot posted to the bottom of my posts. Wanted to get it up into the Avatar areas, but can't get it to copy for the love of me. It's in PB, but when I use the Edit Avatar section, it says the link is invalid. Now I know it needs a "direct link" to get it in there, but what's a "direct link"? Sometimes this brain gets confused with all the computer terms floating around out there.

So what's everybody got planned (famous term) for today? Anybody watch "Sarah Palin's Alaska" last night? I know there's a lot of attention to it cause some say it's political based, some say not. I don't care which way it went, I enjoyed it and it was suspenseful in a few places. Like I don't know if I would have liked to have had the Alaska Brown Bear heading for my boat and was she going to slip and fall on Denali. But the scenery is beautiful especially from the air. Those of us who have been fortunate to have been to Alaska can truly appreciate that scenery. Hmmmm, maybe we need a caravan to Alaska. GTG in Denali?

Morning, Sue and everyone else.

Another drizzly day forecasted here. Snow levels will be down to 1000 ft by next weekend so perhaps a few snowflakes in the valley.

Today I need to get the oil changed in my motorhome. Wondering if one of those Quick Lube type places can fit her in? Literally!

I went to Reserve America this morning to reserve my site for the Oregon GTG next August, but it said I'd have to wait until after 8AM, 2 hrs from now.

Yes, I saw Sarah Palin's show last night. That would really bug me to have a neighbor  who is recording every move you and your family makes!!

Ok, need to start the coffeemaker!
Wishing everyone a wonderful day.

Morning, everyone!

Sue, here's a screen shot of a picture of mine in Photobucket. See where it says "DIRECT LINK"? That's the line you copy into the avatar line here on this forum. You'll have to adjust your dimensions so you're all chubby looking and stretched! :)

ON EDIT: That should be SO YOU'RE NOT ALL CHUBBY...

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Wow I can't hardly believe that I'm only the second person posting in the coffee club this morning!!! Guess them lazy righties are leaving it to us lefties today? I've been up for over an hour. Kelly is still ? sleeping but grumbling at Shade about lying down and not walking around using her for a interstate! LOL Yep just like sisters. Every time Kelly moves, Shade has to move.   Shade just did a little grumble growl at Kelly for moving. OMG

Not to sure what we might do today? Probably more sorting and cleaning. It looks to be never ending at this point. ;) Need to make sure my phone is charged up so I can make a few phone calls today. And I have a letter of recommendation, character to write for a guy we worked with at the Lodge. Really big plans for the day, huh?

OK time for another cup of coffee and go check my email. Hope everyone has a beautiful day today and be sure to do so safely!

Love to all

Well when I started I was the second one. Yep that's me, now I'm forth!!!!

Good morning !! Rainy here, will be for a day or so. We need the amount of rain predicted. I worked most of last week outside raking up leaves. More to do, but a break is appreciated, my muscles all over will really be glad to have the time to recoup :) Have several inside projects on the list of things to do, so I will be well occupied.

Yes, I watched Sarah Palins program last night. Really enjoyed it. Climbing that rock would not be something I would like to do, IF I could  Plan to watch the rest of them too, as I loved Alaska and would love to go back. the scenery is gorgeous. I enjoy over and over the pix I took while up there. As for that neighbor, last nights show, showed just how close he was and setting up on the top deck, looking right over her yard, I WOULD NOT LIKE IT AT ALL, no wonder she was so upset and ticked about it while he was there.

Other then my projects outside , no real news from here, so am enjoying catching up on everyone elses trips. Waiting to hear how Kathleens trip goes in her new to her RV. Soos, seems to be settling in well. Really like your new pix, Lori. You guys look good and the color of those shirts, suit you both. Echo, waiting patiently here for pix, hope everything is falling into place for you and Kelly, no more problems, I hope. I have seen several new people, guess I better go to the intro thread and see who and how many. A big WELCOME to all of them. On a rainy day, this is a nice place to be and I am so far behind, I will entertain myself for sometime right here :D

Well on to read more, Hope you all have a Great day, whatever you are doing or wherever you are, Please stay safe,
CArol :)
Good morning, Mitch, we both posted at the same time. You're such a nice helpful lady.
Good morning Echo, seems everyone was trying to be second, I sure didn't make it, wonder how many times, I will have to try to get this to post :o    Well heres hoping !!!!

I've Had It With Abby!

So, Abby must be going through the Terrible Sixes (should maybe be Sucko Sixes?)...
I've decided to send her up north to visit with her cousins for a while.
Maybe an Arctic Blast will chill some of her peskiness a bit.

Good morning all, not much planned here. We are having fall temps here after summer returned for last week but the sun is coming out. I was so sleepy last night could hardly hold my eyes open for Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters. Went to bed and was wide awake for hours and there was nothing interesting on TV. I wonder if Sarah doing the TV show will help or hurt her political aspirations.
I'm debating if I have enough energy for yoga today but thinking I may just meet up for lunch with the group at this point.
The colors here are changing every day. Load of reds and orange now as they fade away. It has been beautiful to watch the last week and sad that they will all soon be gone. I'm not looking forward to winter. Hey Kathleen stop by on your way to FL and I'll stowaway.
Wow Mitch that's drastic, what did the little darling do !! Are you sending her to Hershel?

Look at that little face, what is that huuman doing to you, Abby?

Hi from cloudy, drizzly Austin. I arrived yesterday and spent the afternoon visiting with DD and DGD. Today is a bit slow, but am working toward unloading clothes, etc from my Roadtrek. My last night on the road was in Junction, it's a pretty little town in the fall. I will post a few pics on my blog later today. Next I am heading over to Lost Maples State Park. It's a bit of a drive so will probably wait until early next week. Hope the leaves don't blow away by then. But first on my list for here I have to get curtains (light drapes) to hang over mini blinds, they currently let in way too much cold air! DD might have a coupon for Bed Bath and Beyond, that will help. :)
Hope y'all have a fun day!

Mitch I LOVE this pic. So similar - and their noses are identical.

Good Morning all!
Today it's drizzly and chilly here on Camano Island. Opened my curtains to see my resident red-tail hawk sitting on the fence...it always scares him away when I open the curtains. I never can remember to take a sneak peak before I scare him. He hunts in the pastures here for several weeks then moves on to another place and back here again. The beautiful trumpeter swans are back for the winter..they are so glorious when flying and so silly looking when on the ground. Also the many hundreds of thousands of snow geese are back for the winter. If anyone is traveling up north in Washington (between Nov-and April) be sure to take the "LaConner" exit from I-5 and head out to that little town of fun shops and restaurants right on the Skagit river, it's a marina town and you would love it. Anyway, on the way out there the snow geese are in the farm fields by the thousands and people make special trips to see them. I live near LaConner and those geese go up and down our valley to feed. Always some wonderful bird activity around here... I am not active... but the birds are. I will try to post some photos of them. I've never done the PhotoBucket thing so it may take me quite a while.
Have a warm and lovely day, all.

Good Morning everyone...Normally don't post here, but just had to share the crazy weather we're having here in the San Francisco Bay area...Days ago it was so cold (for me) that i walked around with a sweat shirt & cardigan all day & night (Was in the low, low 40's at night). But yesterday & today it's in the 70's & absolutely beautiful outside. I hurried & washed a load of clothes & hung them outside to dry...
Where I live there is a huge field not too far from me & I can hear & watch the geese go back & forth across the sky to get to the fields...they are so beautiful in flight...I've even had a pair stop in my yard the past 2 years...don't understand that one...they just walk around & of course I keep the dog in so she doesn't scare them...
As I have never traveled to Alaska I really enjoyed Sarah Palin's show last night...what a wonderous & magnificent place...However, I have no desire to climb that mountain in Denevi & would have stayed much further away from the bears...As for the neighbor...Wow! I can't imagine such an invasion of privacy or how I would handle it...Wonder why she didn't buy that piece of property in the first place but don't know the background on that...Anyway, I absolutely admire her & will watch the series...
Hope everyone has a super day...just stay safe.... 8-)

Unlike Excel, I don't like Palin and signed a petition against using her for the show. I LOVE Alaska - but won't watch the show as long as she's on it. Sorry all you Palin lovers. I just hate that she's the one representing AK. Bet it irks a lot of Alaskans, too. She didn't resign because they all love her. And resigning upset some of her backers - they didn't like a quitter.
