Welcome Carmen!

I'm new here myself.

I love the Casita when we saw the first one in 06, don't see to many of them on the East coast.

Thank you all! I have been looking thru the search engine about posting pictures, haven't figured that out yet. Where to start?
I noticed many ladies from Texas and boy, I was surprised but we all do need a place to sit and talk and what better place than here.
VickiP, your right, BMC is a breed. Not a well known breed because they are usually used for hog hunting and I have met some ranchers that use them for herders, they are a tough breed but stand up well with whatever job they are trained for. We did not know much about the breed until we rescued him, then came the learning curve. A piece of useless informaiton, Old Yeller was a BMC but they used a Yellow Lab in the movie because BMC are too dedicated to their jobs.
Hi Birdie, you pretty close on the area, we are actually south of Junction, closer to Rocksprings. The Texas Hill Country has it all, beauty, rocks, alot of ugly, beautiful pastures and gorgeous Hills (some I would call mountains).
I wish I could respond to all, thank you all for the welcomes and I hope to keep reading and learning more about this site. There are still a few back pages that I have not read yet, save that for early mornings. Have a wonder and relaxing evening. Cheers!
Here's a fast way to share, more later. Then onto learning more.

Welcome, Carmen...we too like the Hill Country of TX....we've visited with a bunch of Sistahs for a GTG there a couple of years ago.....

Go to the tech. section for help with doing photos....you've already got a good start with Photobucket.com as that's where most of us put photos to copy & paste to here....

Jump in and enjoy....

Hi and welcome tothe forum. I love the Hill Country, as well. My ex-inlaws, whom I still love dearly, live in that part of the country. The city they live in is called Leander.

In case you still haven't found it, the sticky post on how to do pics is the first thread in the Maintenance/Tech room. To make it real easy - here's a link to it:

Good morning all!
Thank you Bethers, I think I have a picture attached, we'll see after I hit submit. Thank you Sharon, he was the cutest little (well, not so little) puppy with the biggest attitude. I love my pup. Thank you all for the warm welcome(s), they are always appreciated. Have a great weekend, we had a cold front blow in late yesterday and I am loving this weather. Cheers!

Thank you all. Still learning the picture posting, I think my rig picture is a little too big. I'll try to zip it and re-post.
You all are so wonderful and thanks for the great "welcome".
