Karen, How far is Kerrville from San Antonio? I was planning to do my first stretch (Jan 09) in Corpus Christi, Port Aransas area , then move on to SA, but looks like that plan will have to be revised due to Ike. Have friends who rave about Guadalupe Park so thought about spending some time there also.

Yeppers ... a dispatch from the "Life is too short" department. Wheels are wonderful. Bosses who don't appreciate us need to eat our dirt! LOL!

Why would you have to revise plans from Corpus or Port A? Neither of them were effected by Ike - except now - while we are getting the garbage washed up on our beaches. That will be long gone in a very short time.

That said, yep, Karen's home park is a winner - many of our workampers evacuated to there - and had a great time while there.
