I don't know who to credit for this saying:

You can't do anything about yesterday; but you can ruin today by worrying about tomorrow!

Now that my move is complete, I am a whole lot less stressed. I was overwhelmed, too, so I understand. And I still have things I must part with. Deep breaths, plunge in, more deep breaths, and lots of breaks.

Ava...I am really behind on the forum so don't know what's going on with you. Are you moving or what? I am a semi-expert at moving, having done it about 30 times...Some small moves, some big. I am pretty organized...ask Barbie! I think it probably drove her nuts on our travels  In fact, I plan to put a note up on the bulletin board here to see if anyone needs help with cleaning/organizing or packing to move, as well as pet sitting, dog walking, eyeglass adjusting, etc. I will be job hunting this week for my second job, but so far I still have Wed and weekends free. Not sure how far away you are from me, but I would be willing to help you. If I knew what you were doing, exactly, I could have helped you this weekend. Sorry I didn't catch on when you PMed me  I also did well at getting my stuff sold on Craig's List and garage sale when we sold our house and went full time. Let me know what you need!

No kidding! We would make the perfect "Odd Couple"!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I think the part that is driving me nuts is the fact I'm pulling all my crap out of the shed
and I've got tubs of "STUFF" everywhere with a little path to walk from one end to the
other. Even Gracie and Pixie are having a hard time navigating between the tub.
Am planning on taking the two tubs of "winter" clothes over to my friend Rons, cause
that's what I will need come December/January and so on. I can think better each day.
Thank you for offering Linda, but I would be embarrassed for anyone to see my crap,
cause I don't think anybody has crap like I have crap. not really, but its the disarray
that would embarrass me. Little bit each day after work.
Apache Junction to Scottsdale is about 21 miles, at least when I go visit my friends
out on Ironwood that's what my odometer tells me. But I think your a little closer than
Ironwood. I'll have to go look up that link again you posted so I can mapquest where
you are. We have an early release on Wednesday this week so I'm gonna try to make
it out there to meet up with you, I get off about 1:30.

Sounds good, Ava! I'm glad to see you are not feeling overwhelmed now :D Believe me...I know how crap can accumulate! My mom was and still is good at it. When she sold the house, I was surprised to find out that she even had records from my dad's power washing business before I was born  Funny, I didn't even know they were in the basement all those years. I cleaned out her garage and had to send her to get lunch, etc. so I could get rid of things. She wanted to keep everything and she was moving into an apt! You will have to tell me more about your situation.
