Update on the motor home...yes the fire was the same situation as last time. An oil hose popped and put oil on the manifold causing a fire to start. This time the damage was considerably less - only about $3000 to fix it. This time they are putting in a metal hose instead of a rubber hose.

Am sure the insurance company is going to go after the dealer who put in the rubber hoses when they replaced the engine. So glad they will deal with all that and so thankful we have such a good policy and great insurance agent.

John from Jerry Chambers Chevrolet thinks we should be back in the rig the end of next week. Though I am not complaining of where we are staying in the meantime. Our friends, Jim & Mei put us in the upstairs condo with a beautiful view of the bay. Today the sun is shining and the skies are a pretty blue.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers regarding this situation. All are appreciated. I will give an update as one comes available.

So good to hear it's not as bad as last time. And let's hope it gets corrected as you say - and right - so it really won't happen again. How scary! But how wonderful you have such good friends and such a great place to stay in the meantime.
