I'm betting that there is 30amp service on the post. Question is: Anyone going that needs 50 amps?

Is there a preference as to which end of the loop we reserve sites? Do we want to be close to the showers, or is that important to anyone else? Marda, which site were you looking at?

I haven't looked at any one site yet but, yes, would prefer being close to showers.
I called the park info center this morning and asked about 30amp service. He double checked to be sure and there is 30amp and 50amp in loop B. So no problem with that.
We need to figure out the longest site needed and go from there. I am ready to get my reservation as soon as it opens on November 15th so we can check availability of the sites. How about the rest of you?

Marda, is the # you called directly to the park, and the same one for reservations? If so, would you mind posting it? Did you use 800-452-5687?

Washington has one # for all their state parks reservations but I couldn't find one for Oregon. I'd rather call than do an online reserve.

I am hoping to come but cant make a reservation at this time as I am not sure where I will be in 10 months. I am a Travel Nurse and live in my RV when on assignment. Right now I am at the coast in Northern California (Eureka) tucked in the RV with the rain pelting on my roof!!!! My assignments are 13weeks at a time. However I dont know if I will be working or not during that time, OR where my RV will be parked as I work all over the USA mostly in the western states now.

If nothing else (if I am close) I will make sure I run over there in my car to meet you all (I live in Southern Oregon so should be doable).

I usually avoid State Parks in the RV as I am 58ft long towing my car and there are always sooooo many big trees. I also have 3 slides so again those trees make it a problem but if I am not working at that time I will get there to see you all one way or another. My RV is 50amp but no problem running it on 30amp.

Karen, B62 will take a rig up to 61' long don't know about the trees. IT is not all that far from the sites we are looking to get.

Hey everyone. I stayed at Bullards Beach SP a few years ago when I had my tt and it is a very nice park. Its not on the water and the ocean is a ways away from the campground but it is a great SP. Bandon is a great little town and there is a lot to see in the area.

Oregonluvr and others with large rigs, I remember there being a lot of large spots and you could get your mh in the spot I stayed in (I think it was A2), but I'm not familiar with B loop.

I don't have an rv but will drive down to meet everyone.

Laura, if you can convince Karen she can fit that big rig in (many state parks now have some larger spots, they're getting there!) then you can drive down and stay with her. That would be great. Wish I could be there!
