I've asked Ronnie 3 or 4 times if he wanted to go, but he doesn't want to go with it being January...afraid it'll be too cold for him.

Ronnie, just sit in the middle of our circle. All these women coming will keep you warm. I plan to reserve a cabin for at least one night where we can gather for our pot luck dinner, breakfast and enjoy the fireplace if it's too cold to sit out by a campfire.

Vickie, I will check for sure, but I'm pretty sure they have an accessible family/caregiver restroom & shower.

Sharlotte,
Sites 23, 25 & 30 should all face the southern sky. Let me know when you reserve, ok?

Well poo---- They won't let me pay for one day and pay rest when we get there, they want it all up front. Hubby axed that idea, and he may have a job working at that time why we wanted to only pay 1 day. So guess we won't be seeing you ladies, but have a great time.

Here's their cancellation policy....less than a day's penalty if you can't come:

Cancellations up to the day before arrival may be made for a fee of $17.75. If you want to cancel on or after the day of arrival, contact the park directly. You will be charged the first night's use fee, in addition to the $17.75 cancellation fee.

Yeah, it used to be you lost the whole day - now you pay more up front, but lose less if you cxl - which is why I went ahead and reserved. So - go for it :)

Although it's the first time anyone wanted all the money up front (except rallies), and I wasn't thrilled with that either - but I decided to think of it as enforced savings if for some reason I can't make it - and if I do - will feel free when I get there :)

Did they change their policy from last year? I only paid for one day when I phone in my reservation last year. I did call the park direct - didn't go thru Reserve america or anything.

I'm not sure about that...I got the info off my online reservation page. I'll ask them at the Ranger Station while I'm there this weekend. Oh that's tonight, woohoo!

YAY! Mitch can have the glorious job of showing me how to set up my portable satellite dish! Hopefully, my site will be accomodating!

I have reserved Cabin #1 (closest to the cg) for 2 nights: Monday & Tuesday, Jan. 24-45. Sarah will spend the night and anyone else coming without an RV is welcome to also (Carolyn?) It has 2 double beds and 2 twin beds. It also has a full kitchen, large dining & living area with fireplace, wrap around porch and a fire pit outside. We'll use it as a gathering place for our pot-luck dinner Mon., breakfast Tues., and Leftovers Tues. evening. Sarah has offered to pay, but anybody willing to chip in $10 to $20 to help out...we'd have the cost covered quickly. (Total with taxes $238). I know last year it was a GTG saver in the unusually cold (snowy!) weather. Note: No pets are allowed in or around the cabins.

It worked so well last year for gathering and lingering around our imaginary "campfire" and the kitchen had hot running water   Do you need any funds ahead of time? If not will put "campfire/gathering" funds aside from the gas monies   and catch up with you in Jan..... :D

No, got it covered. And contribution is completely voluntary.
