I guess I didn't realize Diana was on it and posted the dates on the first post already. Cool!

I believe it's Bullard SP in Bandon, Vickie, so I'm assuming you got the correct map.

Thanks Mitch and Vickie!! :P

PS just spent an hour updating the maps on my Garmin. Is it too early to start preparing for the GTG!?!?

Hopefully this link will take you to the Loop B list. Click on each site to see details about it. They will tell you if the site is hard to get into (B11 for example).

Marda, it looks like all the Loop B hookups are 50 amp. Does that mean those of us with 30 amp RVs need to use a stepdown plug or find another site? This is something new to me.

Yay! looking good travel pals! thanks for all the great information, maps, encouragement, etc!!!!

Lenora, sometimes the office will have an adapter for campers to borrow, but I think it's good to have one in rig along with the surge protector, I know some don't agree. ;)

Just a reminder, Bullards State Park has YURTS for rent for those who might not want to camp.

..

Lenora, I have two different adapters that allow me to hook up my 30A to either 50A or 20A receptacles.
I've used them both.
Very glad I have them (along with my Surge Protector, too. ;) )

I've also found that if they say it is 50A hookup, the post has 50A and 30A and a regular plug all on the same post.

That has been my finding, too, but I probably should purchase the 50-30 amp adapter just in case... Thanks!

That's usually the case for me too, however at one State Park in TN I found some sites that had 50 Amp only. I was all backed in & level, and had to go find another site with 30 amp. So, it's a good idea to have the adapter, just in case.

In 5 years, the only time I would have needed an adaptor from 50 to 30 was at someone's house. Have never needed one for a cg - so don't own one. Lenora, I'd call them and make sure - but I really wouldn't buy one unless you find out you need it. And make sure the person you talk to know what they're talking about. At a TX gtg, the person at the office told me I needed one - and the pole had 50 and 30 and 20, like normal. One of the other people told me the misinformed one had been there forever and knew next to nothing :)

There's always the first time.. ;)
I don't think they are all that expensive ($10-$20 ?), and I like being prepared. I'm kinda like Karen (retiredhappy) that way.

If I bought every $20 item that I've never needed in over 5 years full-timing - I'd have a rig full of things - that I would end up giving away. My pocketbook would be light, and the rig heavy. IMHO - as I've probably spent a few hundred dollars on things I've never used (if not more) because someone tells me I need it. I'd rather spend that money on things I want to do - like sightseeing - or books, etc. Just me. There are enough things I do believe I need to have. That's simply never been one of them. And I've been told many times I needed it. Still waiting to find a cg where that'll be the case. But it's your money - and we all have to make these choices for ourselves.

If I were full timing I might think differently, too. Space isn't a premium for me. YET
So far I don't think I've bought any gadgets that I haven't used. No, wait! A collapsible colander.
