Janet, I also thought of the two-legged variety when you mentioned Roy. So wonderful you each have someone to support one another with the challenge of aging parents. And he wants to travel too? What a bonus!

I'm probably one of the few who hasn't ended up in the "sandwich" generation. My folks both passed when I was in my mid-30s and they were comparatively young -- both in their early 70s. But they had been rode hard and put up wet. Such a life takes its toll.

But I'm glad to hear from you and hope you can still pop in on a regular basis.

Ya'll make me smile,, no laugh! The puppy think is hilarious!

I will go look right now for a pic of us... and also,, fyi,, I have a wonderful boston terrier, Shotsey, who loves to GO GO GO.

Also, Roy has a min pin (miniature pinscer sp?) who also flips to go with, ,anywhere! But you ALL know how our fur buddies are!

So.. Roscoe, the min pin, Shotsey, Roy and I are ALL ready to get out and go. I think there are gonna be some daytrips in the offing, and SOON!

Janet, I had missed you on here, so glad to hear from you. Hey, Like the guy, you all look really good together, glad you have someone. Especially now, times that many of us have gone through, its nice you have someone to lean on and share your concerns with. But try to keep in touch, we miss ya !!

I knew you weren't talking about a puppy, I remembered you telling us about him after your class reunion. Nice to see a picture of you both. Me thinks he has been around for sometime now, not sure when you posted of meeting him, but he looks worth hanging onto, so you go girl
