Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Super Sunday

Postby asirimarco » Sun Oct 10, 2010 8:33 am

Good Morning All. Lookes like it will be a beautiful day here in Brown County. But supposed to warm up to the 90s!
Today will be busy - been sorting through my freezer and found a cornbeef brisket so will make Cornbeef and Cabbage. A friend of ours will be here for linner. In fact he will BE HERE forever as he is moving in today or tomorrow......A while ago he mentioned he was getting rid of his house and The Driver said "Well why don't you move in with us, we have a spare room." Soooo he is moving in here this week. Good thing about it is he will be here all winter while we are gone to MX.
We will be going to Elkhart, IN for three days this week, probably leaving on Wednesday, to get the satellite fixed and up and working on Jennie. Finally. Then we plan on leaving here around the 1st of Nov for the winter.
Well all we have for breakfast is coffee - 1/2 cafe - and croissants. If you have time check out my blog for info on the croissants - A sign of the times.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and safe travels. Beth hope we see you.

Lily and Hope butt shot, as they truck down a dirt road before heading off into the woods, looking for a spot to make a den in which to spend the winter. How big Hope has gotten over the summer!

GOOD MORNING CAROL AND ALL!

It was down in the lower 20s all night, crispy frost on the grass, but has warmed up to about 35 now, with a wonderful bright blue sky and warm sun.

We got a lick of work done here yesterday! Mandy, Joe, and I cleaned out the cellar! Joe drove 469 pounds of rubbish to the dump! It killed me to toss some of those old things, but what a nice cellar I have now! Tons of dust gone, loads of old, moldy things that had piled up over the years. I vacuumed the entire cellar, and it looks amazing!

I also emptied the shelter to get ready to back in the old trailer, when I realized it's hitch requires a smaller ball than what I have. I think the one on Joe's trcuk will work if I can get it off and put it on mine. I need to check the kicker, as I believe my old, smaller ball and shank is on that, maybe. I know I used to have one.

So today will be covering the paddleboat, doing the pond stuff, including the leanto, and then, hopefully, getting the old trailer parked for the winter.

People are all up now, so off I go to see about that ball. Coffee is hot, so stop in and tell us about your day!

Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

I like the butt shot of Hope and Lily. They better keep their butts off the road. I'm so glad that they took care of Hope until she could reconnect with her mother. I wonder if it's normal for year old cubs to den with their mothers.

Carol, it seems like you all have a lot of satellite problems. It seems like that's what was holding you up last year. But it's so worth it to us. If we can't travel we can travel with you. I like croissants and use to get the Burger King crou-sandwich for breakfast sometimes until they started using bread that looked like croissants. I wonder if they think we wouldn't notice. I haven't tried one in a long time so don't know what they have now. When I'm trying to diet I eat TV dinners and I don't know why they couldn't put in more vegetables. It wouldn't add that many more calories. A forth of a cup just doesn't seem like enough and sometime I don't know if I can eat all 4 of those pieces of chicken.

I read about your liquor laws about buying more than 12 bottles of wine. In Louisiana we have drive through daiquiri places and we have laws about drinking and driving and open containers. They put freezer tape over the lid and hand you a straw. Guess it's not an open container if the straw isn't in it.

Our weather has been beautiful but it is getting very dry. I have some old boxes I would like to burn but there is a burn ban and no rain in sight.

The stores and tv are pushing flu shots. I'm not sure I want to get a shot at Wal-Mart but need to see about one. My DH refuses to take one and he needs one more than I do. Men are so hard headed.
