Zee, it's a Melitta. I have two of them. One in the trailer and one in the house.

I enjoyed Carolyn's blog & pictures, and also reading about it here on the Forum. It was interesting to read about camping from Sarah's perspective. Sarah, I'm not a "big" gambler, but when I do play the slots, I DO enjoy the sounds of the slot machines! Didn't realize that you could adjust the sound until recently....and can also enjoy heights on some of them! And with certain machines you can actually "feel" the sound in your seat! Sounds like a very enjoyable trip for both of you!

I have one of those things to make coffee a cup at a time. I had one of those under cabinet coffee makers in my motorhome and the bracket broke so have to keep it in a cabinet. When I don't feel like digging it out I use the one cup one. I wish the big one would quit working so I could throw it away. Years ago I had a Melitta automatic that made one cup. Will have to look and see if they still make them. The funnel kind is handy if you don't have electricity. You can heat some water on the stove and have your coffee.

I was soooo hoping one (or both) of you would strike it rich! And I will return to Clarksdale - loved it there. Glad you made the trip, too!

Sarah, she says you didn't dump - did you attempt driving?

Carolyn's rig is too big for a driving lesson, Beth. Besides didn't want to give her a heart attack. I am convinced that full hook ups are the way to go.

Mitch, thanks for the reminder on that coffee maker. Believe me if that choice had been available, I would have opted for it.
Not sure what the problem was with the French Press (other than the operator). I do like my coffee stronger than most people would drink; however that first brew was a bit stout for me. I followed instructions - more or less. It came with a little scoop. Said one rounded scoop for each 4 oz cup and to use a coarse grind. Didn't have that grind, think mine was fine or medium. Didn't time the steeping on first pot - directions simply said at least 4 minutes. By the 3rd morning, I had managed to make a really good cup of coffee. Still I do think the French must like their coffee much stronger than Americans.

Lotus: Carolyn did not show me a volume control on those slots. Believe me I would have turned a few down.
