I think a while back that there was a discussion about Facebook (I can't find it) and a way to block everyone's information about Farmville and other games that people are playing. I just signed up this week...and while I enjoy keeping in touch with people I really don't want all the information on thier game progress...it confuses me! :? Can anyone help? Thanks.

Oh, dear. It's one of those things where I'd need to have Facebook open to step you thru it as I can't remember off the top of my head. You go into either your account or profile and find Applications and then click on either delete or remove. I know, I just confused you more! You can also do a google search on how to do that, I'm sure.

You can do it very easily on your home page as the people's games and applications pop up. If it's one you don't want, hover your mouse over the box with their name and you'll see a black X show up. In my example it's someone who uses iheart. I hovered over the X and the following shows in boxes:

Hide Denise Hide iHeart Mark as Spam Cancel

Now, I wouldn't want to hide my friend, but notice the 2nd choice will be to hide the game/application. I select that - and that application or game is hidden for everyone. But the person isn't. Do it as they show up and all of a sudden you won't have the ones you don't want.

You have to go slow when after you click on the "hide" icon as sometimes where the "hide game name" should be is 'hide all posts from this person' etc. Just saying to go slow and read carefully. Also that will only hide that game app from that person and not all your friends who play that app.

It hides it for all my friends, Lenora - not just that person. I've never had to hide a game more than once - and that's how I always do it.

With FB, though, you never know :)

Beth, probably depends on how you have it set up in the setting...but you are right. With FB you never know..
