So, Tina, I know you're tall, but were you standing on the booth to get that picture of the food plates (Carole in center, Sharon on right...) ? ? ? ?

I was wondering about that too, figured she was just taking a pic after her table dance. :?

Well those who missed Cowboy Church this morning---not only did you miss the regular nationally known recording artist Pretty Miss Norma Jean & band members-(who have played with many of the legends in the music business) - & Tim Hadler -- BUT this morning Ed Bruce & Jonnie Lee & Cal Smith were there--- Total legends in Country Music!!!!
As The guys were together visiting & having their pictures taken-- they said it had been over 30 years since they ALL had been in the same place at the same time!!!
As a fan of country music along with many other kinds of music-- it was a thrill to be hugged by them all this morning-- as I have enjoyed the songs they have written over the years as well as their recorded music!! Great morning!!!!

As you know, OO, I had planned on being there this morning - but so much to do - so little time! Went to the Showboat Branson Belle with all of our group except Tina - and here's my blog post on that:

I also went to The Legends tonight with Sharon - no time to get that on yet. Have upped the pics to the computer - tomorrow will hopefully get that post done.

Goodness Beth, you're going to need 2 days to rest after all that. lol

They really put on a good show. The year I went we found out a retired principal from my son's school and his wife were working at one of the theaters and also performing. Knowing him from school I would never have thought that was something he would do. Speaking of a job, maybe Elvis needs an assistant. ;)

Most everyone went to a free concert tonite with Neil Diamond, and as our Soos would say...AAK! So I stayed home and Pete from the ORS forum is leaving tomorrow, so he decided to forgo this concert. Had a nice conversation with him about what else? Rigs! He showed me how to set my hot water heater when it's on gas so it doesn't sound like a jet engine. Learn something new every day! I love it!

No pictures to post, Beth has been doing that as her camera takes better pictures in the theatres. 5 of us went to see the Comets of Bill Haley and the Comets. There are 2 of the original band members, the sax player and the drummer. Then Paul Revere and the Raiders played... what a show..he was so funny I laughed til my tummy hurt...and the music...it was the best show I've seen so far!! Beth will tell you all about it in her blog and post pictures. I walked Peaches for her tonite as partial payback for doing all of the work. But Peaches is such a doll, I would have done it anyway! So stay tuned for more of our Branson trip!

I'm going to have lots on the blog tomorrow - not tonight - unless I can't sleep.

I've now seen Paul Revere 3 times - loved him every time. First time back in the 60's, 2nd in the 80's in Vegas, and now here. The show in the 80's and this one were similar - combination of his music and his comedy - and yes, you laugh till you are almost crying. I'll save it for the blog.

OO - you were good - most of that talking was before the show. And I loved getting all the little tidbits. Thanks! Wasn't it so nice of that couple to trade tickets with you. And of you and Gary to trade with them to sit with us! I loved it.
