I have a dinette with chairs in my class A. No straps. They stay in place. Haven't had any trouble with them in travels. In fact, I use one to wedge my garbage can in place for travel.

Nice roomy spacious 5th wheel. Slides do make a difference, don't they!

You may have already tried this but just in case you haven't I thougth I would share my experience....My husband snores and long ago I started using ear plugs...not just any ear plugs but the firm round yellow ones that are stiff when you first put them in but they do mold to your ear...of course, it takes a little getting used to because you will hear yourself breath, etc. but truly, truly that does go away after a short time...and then it is pure heaven. The mushy rubber ones that tappered or cone-like just don't work, the only ones that work are the firmer ones that are not tapered or cone-like. I open my mount real wide and push the plugs way in... "Sonus" makes them and they may be available at a hearing aide store. After the initial short-term adjustment it is .... "the only way to go".

I forgot to mention that I very much prefer the free-standing table and chairs instead of the fixed booth so I have the freedom of using that area as an office-type space with an "executive" desk with drawers for storage that is below the window so I can sit at my desk and see out the window...I will be alone so I don't need table and chairs...but for the times when someone may be over I would have a small foldup table and use two foldup chairs that I use for outside...
