Sharon and I will be leaving here the same day, but I'm making a couple stops and don't get there till Monday. Sharon will be high-tailing it to get there a couple days earlier for you early birds. I think we'll be turning different ways out of the campground. How funny is that? To meet up again in a couple days.

Thanks Lori for sending it to me and thank Ernie for getting it in the mail.

You are very Welcome!!! :D :D I'm so glad it got there in time.... ;)

I haven't been on here for awhile....too much going on here   and we did do a GTG with Marilyn, Ray & Donna, and other folks the weekend before last.....Now it's getting close to the time we're leaving PA for GA, so I'll be busy getting ready for that....

As far as hanging the banner....we didn't...but not from the lack of trying....so just laid it on my extra table to sign it.... ;)

Sounds like everyone is excited and ready to hit the road....so glad that Liz could make the trip.....I'll be watching for the photos and the stories... ;) Have a wonderful time, all..............

Us Central Texas Sistahs are getting ready to hit the road. Karen and Carole will leave K'ville Thursday. The nice Vickie (Yakn1) and I will leave from the Schertz area either Thursday or Friday. We will catch up with Karen in NE Texas somewhere. That part isn't settled yet. We kind of don't want to drive more than 300 miles a day and would love 200 so we could poke along. Working out where all the COE parks are between here and there to see if those are a good fit. Waiting to hear from Vic (Yakn1) to see if she can leave Thurs instead of Fri.

We are getting the Hermine (sp) rain here in Schertz. Since about 5 a.m. sometimes it just pours and others a gentle sprinkle. I will be putting on my 'no melt suit' here in a little bit to make a trip to Wally's world. How many sleeps before we get there? Well I count 5 :!:

Everyone out there be safe in your journey.

Dear Soon-To-Be-New-Aunties,

Can you please tell my Mom that you would still like me, even if I wasn't sparkly clean...
She made me get groomed today for when I meet you all, and I HATE being groomed.
It's like Mom going bald - she's still the SAME Mom...
I don't love her any less because she only has 18 hairs left.

Abby

Dear Abby, I think you are beautiful. Tell your mom your Auntie Beej will love you clean or dirty. Andy sends you kisses so you will feel better and says he hopes you don't mind his icky breath.

Dear Auntie BeeeeeeeeeJ,

Thank you. I love you already!

My Mommy is bummed because she said she turned on the fridge in the Mobile Marlin and it's not cold. She's hoping it's just a slow starter (kinda like me...). Anyway, she was going to PM you to see if you were still willing to share your cabin refrigerator, just in case. She was saying naughty words and wishing something could go right once in a while. She was pouring a glass of grape juice into a lovely stemmed glass...

I won't mind Andy's breath. I'm sure it smells better than my butt.

Love,
Abby

Dear Abbie,

Remi here. I got clipped last night, too! Boy don't ever ask the GHL to groom you third in line. :? I think she just got tired and figured the shorter the better. :o I know that it will grow back but I think it takes away from my fuzzy sweet look. I hate it when she tries to be practical. :( Something about not wanting mats in my coat and she doesn't want to comb me out everyday! :? So anyway, I promise not to laugh if you promise not to laugh. by the way, I may not be as big as Herschel but I have a very big heart. :) Looking forward to meeting you. I will be the one standing as far away from everyone at the end of my leash... :) ...with the short hair cut....

Dear Remi,

My Mommy says you are adorable, although a little shy. I'm very shy, too. Why, I've never been around this many people and dogs at one time in my entire life. I'm not sure I won't spend every waking minute in the trailer. You can come, too, if you want, AND if you promise not to stick your nose in my butt. We can talk about our humans and compare notes and make pupcorn and tell doggie-ghost stories, and...well, you get the drift.

Love,
Abby

PS: I can't wait to meet all my new aunties and cousins...wow - what a family!!

Sophie here. What is it with these hoomans? My mom's taking me to the vet tomorrow so they can "sedate" me to clip my toenails. I DO NOT LIKE MY NAILS MESSED WITH IF I'M AWAKE. First time I went it took three vets to hold me down and a muzzle. I showed them what 30 pounds of frantically wiggling puppy can do. I was so stressed out that mom decided it was better to let them sedate me some. I don't know what all the fuss is about, my nails look good long. I can hardly wait to meet and greet all of you.

Remi here again. Don't let Herschel know that I shared with you, but he takes a little pill about an hour or two before the GHL does his nails. By the time she gets him to walk into the kitchen his eyes don't quite focus  She uses the dremel grinder and he kind of moves around a little and then just lays there and sighs when he realizes there isn't any blood and he doesn't feel all that coordinated anyway...... but then again, Herschel will tell you that I get to wear a muzzle and get wrapped in a towel. :o Those ECS just lay on the the floor uder the GHL's lag and the girls "scream" but I count their paws afterword and they both seem to have the same number of toes. Count them yourself if you get a chance. :) Stuart tries to wiggle but he doesn't vocalize his protest like his sister and Ma but then not much bothers Mr. Stuart.

Spinner reporting in....I don't really like my nails done either, but will be patient for Mom to do the front paws, but when she gets to the back ones, well....just not thrilled about that....I try to pull away from that "Peti-paws" thingy, but she is determined to have them done...Hence, this last Sunday when it came to do the back paws, Dad kinda' held me while she did them....I got a treat for being good and a promise that my friends at the Ft. Stewart Boarding and Grooming and Doggy Day Care will do them next month...Yipee....I will sure miss meeting up with all of you, but Herschel and Remi know where I'll be for the winter and will give you directions if you'd like to visit... ;) Have fun and don't let the Hoomans forget to post photos of all of you at the GTG....

Your friend,
Spinner

Weatherby and Remi checking in here! We won't get to meet everybody and their hoomans, but we get to stay home and entertain our Mommy's niece and her friend who'll be staying with us. We're not real used to being around a lot of people, we're country dogs and we just bark when we go outside and see rabbits and other critters in our yard. So yall have fun and help our Mommy and Daddy to not miss us too much and it's okay to give Daddy kisses in his face but Mommy don't like that because she knows that we like to lick other things too. :?

Woof, Woof!! Dang, I don't get to meet anyone new and I still have to get a bath! Something not fair about that situation but I do get to visit my friend, Lizzy while my human takes off for the week. At least that is better than a little cage at the vet. Maybe I'll get to tag along next time.
