Las Vegas GTG...On-Going!!

This is an unusal GTG as it does not involving a campground, rv's, etc. I celebrate my big "60" later this week, and my BFF's (Carolyn/Sunshinecruiser & Theda) planned an early birthday gift for me. They flew to Vegas this weekend and it was such a total surprise...thanks to my DH and friend Barbara Ann! Barbara Ann invited DH & I to meet her for a drink Saturday night. We're walking thru Paris in search of the Le Centre bar. I was expecting to see BA watching for us and waving as I'm known to easily get turned around and lost!! No BA, but I kept walking around this oh so round bar! Finally reach the other side and there's Carolyn & Theda!! OMG, I couldn't believe it! The story stops here because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!

How fortunate I am to have such great friends. I've missed them both so very much, and this is the best ever birthday gift. Another BFF of our "group" wanted to come; however, circumstances prevented that from happening. A wonderful birthday and it's only Monday of my birthday week!!

I feel so blessed to have such true friends as Carolyn and Theda, and what an awesome surprise. Words cannot express how I feel and how special they made me feel. It's my hope that all of you have at least one friend like these two. There was one more of our "group" with intentions of being here; however, other situations prevented her from doing so. So I've been having a birthday since Saturday night....how cool is that!!! Sharon, wish you could have been here also!

Happy birthday! I love surprises like that Barbie and I (and my BFF, Colleen) will be in Las Vegas in Oct., on our way to CA. Maybe another GTG? I have left a lot of stories in Vegas over the years Loved the slide show!!! You have a beautiful place Would like to have seen more of it and of the Oasis RV Park.
