Oh, Carolyn, so sad that you can't make it - but definitely understand. And we will meet another time. Yep, it will happen.

Liz, I'm so glad you decided to come - will be good to see you again.

I just looked up the game I'm bringing "Would you Rather?"

That said, just had another mini-gtg here in AL - with Martha, Acadianmom, stopping over tonight. Will post the couple pictures in another thread.

Oh, Carolyn, I am sorry that you will be unable to attend the gtg but I sure understand about changing plans for the family. They need you and we will be around and can hook up later. This is important and your mind would have been there anyway so later...

Liz, I'm so glad you are going to make it. You will be my neighbor, aren't you lucky.

I'll have the walla-balla's with me and that's a group thing we can do. Did someone say, movie camera?

I'll probably make some Hillbilly Dip Sh1t and bring with chips and then I haven't decided what else to bring.

Oh boy, Liz is joining the group!!!!

Carolyn, sorry you had to cancel. Hope your family is on the mend quickly.

TN Carolyn - I know that recipe as RedNek caviar, and yes, Mitch it is good stuff.

Hello,

Can y'all put a memorial on my camp spot. I see it is now open. :-(

Since, I will not be attending (and my friend Debbie had made a Lasagana for the our pot luck), I expect to see plenty of pics and stories!!!

Edit: I won't be getting my AK colored in. :(

Carolyn, sorry to hear about your sisters health problems and that you won't be able to go to the GTG. I would really like to go but can't go to everything. My DH is talking about having a knee replacement in November so I will probably not be able to make some of the Texas rallies I was planning on going to.

Liz, glad you got your RV back. Repairs just seem to be part of this life style. I still have to see about getting the heat shield replaced that fell off in Mississippi.

I'm just about ready for this gtg. I'm planning on quitting eating and drinking the weekend before and prepping tGM for whatever might happen. You know the saying-"neither rain, nor sleet, nor whatever these ladies have planned, will keep us from------ " carold

Ladies,

Any of you traveling I-10 West to the GTG, are welcome to spend the night in my driveway or dad's driveway. I live approximately 6 miles off of I-10 from the Butte LaRose exit. Let me know if you need a driveway to spend the night in.

Also, the Welcome Center at the Butte LaRose exit has 24 hour security and a dump station. The Butte LaRose exit is approx. a 25 minute drive to Lafayette, via I-10 West.
