Adding one more welcome! Hope to hear all about your traveling adventures and maybe meet up with you at a future gtg. I'm a travelin' Nana too. My grandkids enjoy all the postcards I send them from my travels.

And we have great big shoulders if you need to cry or vent, too....it's not always just fun and games....but mostly! We do love to have fun, and that's what it's all about! And we love to tease and be teased back. Oh yeah, and pictures, altho I'm the worst one for getting pictures posted.

Welcome Travelinana, from North Carolina area. We're all curious as to what state you live in. Also, do you have an R.V. yet, some who join don't at first. See how nosey some of us are(me)  There are a lot of us who travel alone, here, so just join in. You have come to the right place to ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE IN YOUR CORNER, WHATEVER IS GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE. to help with questions you have, moral support or just a place to lay your troubles down, and let them go. Sometimes we all need a shoulder and living alone we don't have that, but here we do. You have just done the best thing for youself, by joining this crazy, wonderful bunch of ladies. The more you join in, the more you will enjoy. I strongly suggest, if you live anywhere near the ARk.GTG, that you come for even a day. I doubt you will have any problem finding us, as we are a large group gathering this time and you are sure to hear the laughter on entering the park. We have two ladies, that are renting the cabins, no r.v.owners yet, so that is not a requirement at all. We''re all just Sistah's that love to see our country in some mode of transportation and some even live in them fulltime.

So a really warm welcome to our forum, looking forward to meeting you in the future somewhere down the road. One thing for sure you will never be alone again, or feel like you are, all you have to do is check in here.

Safe and Happy travels,
CArol

Thanks for all the great Welcomes! I am in Arkansas, in fact it is my home. I was excited to find out about the GTG until I realized My daughter and I will be on a cruise that exact time. It won't work for Branson either. I am just learning how to navigate the site and only just now found all the welcome letters. It made me feel like I already have friends out there. I said I was from Arkansas, and about 2 hours from Petit Jean. I have been going there since I was a kid. I live on Greers Ferry Lake and it is another beautiful place in the foothills of the Ozarks. For those of you who have time while in Branson you might want to sneek into Eureka Springs, AR, sorry I don't remember highway leading in but of course it's on the map. I have an 02 24' Chinook Destiny motor home. I have made a few trips, out a couple of weeks at a time. I had a girlfriend with me on a couple of trips. I am a partner in a business renting aquariums and aviaries to nursing homes and businesses http://www.aquaticsetc.comand tho I have passed the torch to another lady a couple of years ago I started a website for Arts and Crafts http://www.homemadeinamerica.com about 13 years ago. I will send pictures as soon as I learn how. I found 'posting pictures' and I'll keep working on it but might have to ask for more assistance. I'm looking forward to catching a GTG soon. We're visiting friends in Mountain Home before the GTG and they have relatives in Conway, so we have traveled near you quite a few times. Beautiful area. Sorry you'll miss getting to know us in person this time around :(, but enjoy your cruise. Luckily there are always future opportunities either for a large or mini one when traveling. I believe the Branson group is planning to go to Eureka Springs. carold

Oh, I can't believe such a large group of us will be soooooooo close to you - when you won't be there! Some will be there early - some late, so if you're around on either weekend around that gtg, then let them know. No matter what - you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet.

And please, if you have any trouble finding your way around the site, just holler - someone will find your post and help as soon as they can :) And, if for some reason, it gets overlooked for a couple days, post again. It's never intentional - but we can all miss something sometimes.

Your mh is about my size - I have a '99 22 foot.

Sorry to miss you this time at either of these gtgs, but rest assured - you'll meet some of us in the future - as long as you want to.

Dang! I was still holding out hope for your name to be Ana just so I could be right for once!

Welcome again, I quickly scanned thru your website, info and stories and will go back later and read some more. Too bad you won't be able to join us in AR or some of the others in Branson, but hey, who can blame you, cruise and all!

I look forward to hearing more about you and your adventures.

Oh, I was so sorry to hear you won't be able to make the GTG, and you're so close. But a cruise is great too, so enjoy it and we will all meet up somewhere down the line. You said you felt like you had friends already out here, you do. We just all need to get to know one another better, but you had friends as soon as you introduced yourself, all over the country. Hope you'll join in with your comments and more info about yourself as time goes by and best of all, hopefully we'll see you at one of our GTG's.

Take care and enjoy your cruise, see you another time

Hey, it could happen. We'd probably have snow at the AR GTG, but it could happen.
(I just love mentioning the word "snow" at the gtg's and scaring Sharon!)

A bit late but wanted to add another big welcome to the forum. Just know you are going to enjoy it. Sorry about you missing the ARK gtg but a cruise sounds like a wonderful alternative.
