Another favorite of Frost for me is, "Whose woods these are I think I know: His house is in the village, though...." It ends with two famous lines, "But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep." A super poem about a sleigh ride in the dead of winter. When I read it, I can hear the bells on the little horse pulling the sleigh, and see the breath clouds swirling up from both man and horse. Frost really had the ability to paint pictures with words, and, because his poems rhymed and had meter, both necessities for me to love them, I read his works a lot and memorized many.
