I'm with you, Liz, relaxing with a book and my feet in the water would be so nice. Thanks for sharing the hike with us. I'm assuming Roe wasn't allowed?

Roe was with me all the way...just didn't get a photo of him on that trail. Dogs are allowed on all the trails on the Blue Ridge, but not in the Smoky Mt. Mat. Park.

That certainly looks like a very relaxing spot. I, too, could do that without much effort or arm twisting. :D All those steps going down, what about back up? Hope there was an easier route to take. Thanks for sharing the pics. Linda
