Ha the way my mind works lately, I will probably call them Sue or Mary  Warning you ahead of time, I am horrible with names. I go by Marslet on the forum which is my middle name, but I answer to Sharlotte (which everyone else calls me) and Baby which Awesome Man calls me. Getting closer and closer, can hardly contain my excitement

How about we just call EVERYONE Carol? Or "hey you" would work, also. It's those like Marslet with a couple names that really throw me off.

And I know Carolyn (sunshinecruiser) and Tina (birdbybird) apart, but they visited one right after the other here - and I keep attributing the wrong things to the wrong person - like who had Belle. Ah, a new gtg, wonder where Belle will end up :)

I wonder why Belle hasn't been out all summer. Why is she hiding? She certainly missed out on a few kayak rides. She could be attached to Mr. H's life vest and be all safe and all. Let's hope she is allowed out at the GTG. Linda

Belle thought that the pups should try out the new fangled kayak first...she is no fool  She isn't a strong swimmer and didn't know if any of us would fetch her from underwater  But now that she knows it is safe. The GHL doesn't even put her camera in the dry bag anymore she is so confident. :? It rides in the pocket of her life vest.   But then we don't splash water on her much. :D

Okay, SO...

Postby mitch5252 » Mon Aug 30, 2010 7:35 pm

..

Am I the ONLY one getting so so so so so excited about this GTG???

Why, I've even consulted with Ms. Pest about making a special Chinese Soup with a couple of Ms. Beth favorite ingredients...
Oh, how I wish I had more weight/room...I'd be The Traveling Hit-Or-Miss,Take-Your Chances Camping Chef Wagon!!! :)

I'm going to taste my first Alligator Piss, in exchange for some jen-YOU-wine Kentucky Moonshine.
I get to visit with old friends, and meet new ones.
I get to pick on The Pest in person, for almost five entire days...
Life doesn't get much better than this, eh?

Oh yeah, you are by yourself getting excited----NOT!!!!! I am making lists, checking them twice, losing them, starting all over, adding other things. Come on time, speed up.
Emma is so ready to go somewhere. She loves to travel. I swear she is almost asleep before we leave the driveway!! We are still gonna have to watch her closely as she isn't suppose to run and jump with her little back legs until she is released by her Dr. Wed. will only be 4 weeks since her surgery, and he isn't gonna release her completely until it has been 7 weeks. We won't even be back home by that time, so are planning to take her back around Sept the 27th, which is about 7-8 weeks. She is looking forward to meeting everyone, but will either be in Awesome Man's arms, or in the camper, or her crate.

Just be sure to call me when it's time to eat! Just yell FOOD! That works for me!

Put me on that list of VERY EXCITED PEOPLE. Times flying by, my problem is I am still waiting for my r.v. to be fixed and back here where I can clean from last trip and pack up for ARk trip. Didn't have time to vacuum before taking it in to shop and would have to be done again after, so do it all one time. (nothing lazy about me, or is that being smart, I like the latter)

As far as being called by any name, as long as its nice and with a smile, anything is acceptable. I expect to have a great time there, not sure you should call out 'food ' for me though :) My dr. wouldn't approve of my running too fast!!!

Sharon, hope its not as winding traveling and that your trip to Ark., visiting friends on the way etc. is lots of fun. Sure wish I was on the road already. Sure couldn't without my AC though, still hoping all it is, is the fan, which the initail exam showed. Motor has to be ordered and it is an old rig, old AC, so hopefully there will be no problem finding one. Think I will call this afternoon and see how its going with finding the part.

Still haven't decided what food I will take, to many other decisions have had to be made and taken care of , and the ol brain, is only one track, and sometimes that one doesn't work to good :( I will take something to add to the table, for sure, just can't say what yet.

Also bought new cards yesterday, so Liz and I, broke a couple of the decks in last night. I need more practice, so I will be already, Sarah and Tina and anyone else who is interested in , as Vickie says Hoof and mouth. Hand and Foot, is the game.

Times flying, see you all soon, and call me anything you like (as long as its nice)

And I stopped by Costco and picked up their deal on cards so that we would have plenty of extra decks for anyone who wants to try something new....or change out those old decks  I am not saying that the red threes were marked in any way.....
