Let's see if this will work:

I'll try it and leave it if it works. I still haven't figured out how to label each picture in the slideshow, so forgive that they all read the same as the album I made! These were taken yesterday afternoon and last evening and night at my leanto.

Gorgeous pictures, Soos. Wish I was there with you, putting my kayak in that pond.

Do you own all the land around the pond? What is that cabin in the background? Is that yours too? Very peaceful! Do you have bears up there?

Beautiful, Soos! It looks more like a lake than a pond by my standards. I sure hope I can make it to one of your ruckuses someday!

To answer a few questions----yes, the pond sits right in the middle of our 400 acres, and it's all ours. The cabin at the end of the pond was built by us, and was used by my in-laws every summer until Pepa died a couple of years ago. Now Mema doesn't get up here by herself, so I am hoping to get it all spruced up for my summer home beginning next year. It has an RV pump for the pond water, used for flushing, showering, dish-washing, etc., a septic system with flush toilet, an on-demand propane water heater, electric lights, Satellite TV, new propane refrigerator/freezer, propane stove and oven, propane heater/furnace----it has a generator and converter/inverter to plug in anything needed, including AC and microwave. it is an ideal summer home which is now going to waste. It's fully furnished with beautiful stuff. I would choose to sleep out on the screened-in porch, however, rather than the bedroom, as I love being outside more than inside.

I truly love this place in the springs, summers, and fall. I even love cross-country skiing when it's warm enough
and snowy enough in the winters, but I really hate being confined to this house all winter just trying to keep it warm!

Hi Soos, very nice pictures, I wish I were sitting there with you in front of that fire, gazing out at the water and stars! Something so relaxing about fire and water...maybe it is just me..but I have always found sitting by a nice campfire on the beach is the most relaxing thing I can do. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us. When we lived in NJ, we never got up to that area, but it is on my "bucket list"...enjoy the rest of your weekend! Laurie
