I am getting so excited with the Branson trip. Started counting down the days to go. I met a lady that said a must see show is Noah the Musical. Tickets are high. Hope discounts will be available.

Glenna, seems everyone has "must see" shows. Just talked to someone else who says I have to see what she saw when there last year. Then again, there's lots they didn't see - so I'm going to listen to everyone, then look at everything we're given for discounts, etc - then decide for me. And hopefully we'll all be going to lots of different things, too - and then, of course, we'll all want to see what the others did

I'm really looking forward to it, too - to have fun together - and explore Branson.

Also - did you all know there's the Titanic museum there? I want to do that, too. Geez, I should be staying at least a week LOL

We have seen Noah several times-----& it has a wrap around stage that makes you feel like you are in the Ark with the animals--many of which are real!!!

The Titanic Museum almost got new windows & doors where they didn't want them--- from me--- I got in there-- & there are no windows---- & there were tons of people that day & all had on scented crap--- perfume & other scents---- it was sooooooooo full of people you could not even get close to anything you wanted to see--my throat started swelling shut- & I was getting sick-- & before I could get to where I could get out of there-- they almost had new doors & windows-- made by me!!!!
If you are interested in the Titanic museum--- I think timing has a lot to do with your visit---- if you are going to be in Branson on a day other than the week end----- I would highly recommend---- going on a week day---- & probably a morning to be able to see things & there not be soooooo many people!!! Just my opinion for what ever it is worth!!

OO - Your opinion is worth a lot - so noted - do Titanic Museum on a weekday!

See Karen - we'll need these extra days - and probably won't get to 1/2 of what we want to do now! I have to quit being told of more things to see/do lol

I am figuring that Branson is like most other places one can travel....I will never be able to "see" everything of wonder but more than I would have had I not come!

You read my facebook page- & see things---- I post on your facebook page a few things--- & then post here---
You will have to do all you want the first visit & then come back again!!!!

Who knows maybe one day you & Peaches will want to call Branson Home!!!
We love love love love love love living here--- We have owned property here since 1984-- but has only been FULL time home for 2 years now---- BUT it is HOME!!! Can't even dream of living any place else!!! So much to offer here---- in Branson & in the Ozarks it's self----- & the people are wonderful!!! We love everything about it---even the traffic & all the people--- because of that we have sooooooooo many things offered for us here in this small town!!

OO - I don't rule anything out - would probably thrive on all the entertainment there. However, I'm not ready to stop traveling - and probably still wouldn't want to spend winters there Really looking forward to the time there - and to meeting YOU.

Just how "dressy" do people get for the shows in Branson in the daytime? This is coming from someone who thinks dressing up is going from shorts to capris. Carole, (who has more clothes than JC Pennys) was going to bring a "dressy" outfit so I thought I had better check on the dress code. BTW, did I mention I hate to dress up? Been there, done that.

Well Karen, I could probably go toe to toe with Carole on the clothes and come out a winner....there's the cruise clothes (pretty fancy stuff), the jeeping clothes, the M/C clothes, winter clothes for the sand dunes...you get the picture...I LOVE clothes!! And we're not even going to get into the money I've spent at Victoria's Secret! LOL! And just how many bathing suits does one woman need?? But I would imagine it's pretty casual for the stuff in Branson considering all of their clientele is on vacation. Doubt if we're gonna need anything dressy or fancy. Jeans or capris will probably be just fine...hope so anyway, 'cause that's all I'm bringing. Heels and slinky black dress are staying home.
