Just one more reason why traveling with someone else would be so much more comforting than being alone out there. I am really apprehensive about being all alone on the roads, and am hoping I will get over that. In the 60s, I traveled alone all over this country more than once. I also traveled with a friend now and then, and it was way more fun.
I have never traveled on that trail, Liz, but have been on the Skyline Drive and the other section of that (my mind can't think of the name this morning) and found the Smokies to be very beautiful.
Thanks for the pictures! Sure hope the guy can fix Carol's brakes right where she sits! Thanks for staying with her until she gets saely back home. At least you seem to be in a pretty spot! Have a fun Saturday, and let us know what happens from here!
