Carolyn trekked out to The Blue Marlin this morning for a visit and a swim and some lunch.
We had a great visit, which, of course, did not last long enough. Time flies when you're having fun.
But we'll get to visit again in a few weeks! And Abby loves her new Auntie...

The food sucked! I was going to make a chicken caesar salad (used to be my favorite). I didn't like the dressing I made (new brand of OO???? Everything else was the same). So we just dressed the chicken/salad with BOTTLED Ranch (Carolyn) and my favorite O/V). But the bruschetta was delicious, even though George showed up just as I was finishing that and asked if one was for him (which it was not - he doesn't do bread). I could tell by the way he asked that he wanted it. So, what could I do??? Men, they're aways showing up at the wrong time!!!!

Let me tell you ladies, Mitch is some good hostess. The Blue Marlin Resort should be on the list for a boondocking gtg. It's fabulous out there. First thing I asked was, "how in the he77 did you find this place?" It's beautiful. I had a great time. Met George and how he has put up with her his long is, well, another story. The weather was perfect for a swim and the food, what can I say? Delish! Here are a few pix I took. Even got one of Mitch serving Carolyn's Coolers to me out at the pool. How's that for living? It was a great afternoon. Plenty of laughs and lots of gossip (no, not us.)
