Thanks, Lori - for not giving up when you didn't have a good signal. Had a great time going through the pictures. And looks like, although this one was small - it was GREAT. Wish I could have been there!

Lori, glad you finally got to post the pics. Looks like, as usual, our forum gtg was fun. Hmmm, would sure like that crab recipe posted somewhere  It's nice to put faces to names, although I'm terrible at that. Hopefully at the AR one, I get it straight-sure wouldn't want to mess up, say for instance, call Vickie-Mitch, or vice versa. Maybe I'll just stick to the "D"word  carold

Sounds like the safest bet - call for a Doo(ew)(u)fus, and you'll have at least two, possibly three, women at your disposal...one of whom would be worth having around...

Ya notice she first said she wouldn't want to mess up and call Vickie-Mitch, then as an afterthought she added "or vice versa" just so Mitch wouldn't feel bad or get mad and retaliate, but we know what she meant.

Great pictures! I love seeing parties/GTGs!

Now then, we need someone to take the initiative and plan a calendar for next year's GTGs so that we don't have any too close together to prohibit us from going to them ALL, or at least most of them! Now that I am free from daily work, I should cerainly be able to make a bunch of them. And I don't want to schedule my Ruckus 2011 during any times I could be going to others.

Who is the best organizer and has the time to do such a thing?? :)

Hmmm, aren't you recently retired and recently experienced in organizing a successful gtg?

Trying to catch up on my reading on this forum, and I find an excellent suggestion made by Soos, about the larger GTG's, planned in different areas, be organized as to dates, including her Runkus, so more could plan and get to them. Sounds like a great idea to me, too. I'm not an organizer, so I volunteer Soos too, she already has experience :)

Its a great idea, the mini ones, just pop up, but the bigger ones, like the Pa. and Ark ones, Fl. last Jan. etc., now those are ones we plan and try to make including Soos Runkus. Some who are interestered in locating a park for us all, to GTG, in different areas of the country, could volunteer their interest in doing that and we could go from there. Maybe have a limit on how many each yr. and such. An idea really worth thinking about. I for one, would like to see as much of our country as I can and that is a wonderful way to do it, plus an excellent way to meet our Sistahs on this forum. Great idea Soos !!!
