Nervous...on the road tomorrow..

Well the trailer is all fixed and we head out tomorrow...off course now for the first time since we bought this thing...I am nervous about towing it. I know it normal post accident jitters....send me some good vibes.

The other good news..once it is all fixed and done..it will only cost us $500.00 since it was hitched the truck..our insurance will cover everything. The cool thing was..I thought we would have to deal with an adjuster, but since we were not near home..they said fix what you need to get home and then fix the rest as soon as possible once you get home.

Now the other factors...can I say I really like Garrett Kramer and if you ever breakdown in the Kalispell area of Montana...look him up for service and repair.

We had a nice chat on what to look for in RV's what brands he sees a lot of, what brands he sees as well made.
BTW...we also learned a few things about our trailer... (now keep in mind we had planned on using it one more season, then downsizing, as we have less kids travel with us)
Well this is IT's last season...we have had issues with this off and on...but other people love theirs..so we thought maybe we got a lemon.

The interesting thing we learned..is that the axles that are on here...are not the one's that should be. They are designed for 7,000 or less. The tow rating is 7,900. Keep in mind they are the ones that came with the trailer. So that means in some cases..he says it is common..to keep the cost down they do not put on the better axle, that many go by dry weight for the axle rating.

Sending good thoughts your way Kristy! Safe journey home...I love talking and better yet, LISTENING to folks talk about their rigs and boats. I love when people share good information. You really do learn something new everyday!

Glad you are all fixed and ready to roll. You'll get settled back in no time.
Scary on how manufacturers can get by with putting on lesser equipment. I think that sound dangerous.
Safe travels!
