GOOD MORNING ALL!

It's time for bed, Mom!

Here comes the moon, rising over the pond.

A little higher!

Looking in from outside.

It was about 48 down there at what I thought was 4:30, but, as both my clocks down there are still on standard time, it was really 5:30 daylight time!

So am having another cup of coffee here in the trailer now, getting dressed, and heading for the big city and then to visit with Cedar and Kathy at their campsite.

I hope you all have a wonderful July day wherever you might be!

Happy travels!

Good morning Soos and all the RVing Chicas....

Having a yummy cup of coffee now and planning out my day. A bike ride with my DH over to the Library and back is a def. plan. Then in the pool, maybe some sewing and crafting or whatever. One week from today, I go back to work full time, no more summer break. Sure didn't seem like summer to me as I had to work several days. Oh well, I like the $$$....and you have to make it when you can... :D

Have a good day all!

Heading off to meet with the "timbering" fella out at my Dad's property. The estate holds about 43 acres of which about 40 are in woods that have been neglected for years. My father had talked with forest service and timber specialist before he died and knew that the woods needed to be thinned out. So now almost 4 years later we are finally getting is scheduled to be done. This guy will take some of the good lumber out but will also leave healthy trees that will help reforest the land....and lumber trails that the family can use for hiking. The trails my father had cut are long grown over and lost. The canopy needs to be opened so that some of those healthy trees can grow. The other positive is that there will be enough cash received by the estate to pay taxes next year. I had just about run out. Small details.....

ENjoy your day and smile...everyone will wonder what you are up to!

Good morning from SW Colorado. Breakfast at Walmart.

I love the view from your leanto, Soos. It's also fun to be outside peeking in that cozy scene. Molly looks really snug on the bed.

Today we're continuing eastward. Don't know what adventures lie ahead....nothing definite planned, so we'll see what we can find of interest along the way.

Tina, it's nice you can get some cash to help pay taxes from the sale of timber on your land. And the hiking trails are a plus too.

Hope everyone has a fun day today. But first, you have to get out of bed.

Looks like it will be a of day of reading and inside chores today as it is already 80 degrees at eight. Winnie is wanting me to do her favorite activity and my least favorite, vacuuming.
I ordered a juicer last night, my neighbor is really big into juicing and brought me over a sample it was really good and best of all didn't bother my stomach. I've been having trouble with eating enough fresh veggies so hopefully this will be a good way to meet all those servings they recommend. I tend to eat too much fruit, watermelon is my favorite.
Time for my second breakfast. Have a fun day where ever you are.

good morning ladies
its been a few days and I've got a lot of catching up to do, I've been without internet as its purely
a luxury item and I need to make the budget stretch for next 3 weeks. Back to work today, then
off until monday when we go back for good. Can't see the pictures Soos, as this computer at work
doesn't allow us to. I'll do some more catching up from the computer at our clubhouse. Those are
so busy though, its hard to get in and get one.
Just wanted to take the time to say hi and let you all know I'm ok and doing the best I can right now.
Enjoy your day and have a good time.

Good Morning Ladies, it will be a hot one here in IL today... hoping for rain soon or the hose comes out again to water everything...

Soos you have many places to sleep... you can fool yourself and say you are traveling... I like the views of the moon coming up... do the mosquitos get you in there? enjoy your time with Cedar and Kath... will be fun for sure... glad you are taking a break...

How fun Tina to walk trails in a woods... that will be great but has to be kept trimmed back or in a short season it will cover over again...
Liz the Wal-Mart's have saved of us many hundreds of dollars over the years and we have donated much to their success... it must be close to Joslin going back to work... you two have had a wonderful summer...

Today I will spend some time marking items for sale... that makes my once clean house full of clutter now... but that will end when all of the 'stuff' is moved to my daughter's garage...

I send you all warm thoughts as you go through your day...

Morning has come and gone. My nephew has gone also. He is looking for work, said he may be back. Which would be nice. At least I rediscovered, I do know how to take care of guest :) I have company so seldom, I wonder about me sometimes, being able to entertain anyone. When my sis and then my friend were here, total of 2 weeks, I thought it would be really hard to be alone again, as I enjoyed their being here so much, of course, I didn't do for them, they did for me :) i've also readjusted to living alone again.

Soos, I love your place, you have so many ways to camp out and the sights to see there at your place that your summers will all be filled with great adventures. Looking out when you wake up and seeing the pond, in my book that is ideal.

Hot here already, and I was up really late last night, so think this will be a lazy day. Maybe have some energy come in the evening , cooler hours, after the nap, I think I need :D R.v. needs to be starting its bath, in preparation for hitting the road. I will do in stages, I THINK.

Kathleen, I'm glad for you, that you have help having a garage sale, and getting rid of your clutter. I need to price lots of stuff, I have collected in my one guest room, and have a yard sale. About the time I could have one, I am leaving, so am seriously thinking of just hauling off to a thrift store, that their funds go to a good cause. I've had some good luck with sales though, and keep thinking, the money I might make, would take me a long ways in the r.v. this winter. ;) Otherwise, haven't decided yet, what I might try for this winter. I loved being gone last winter, until I got home to frozen pipes, etc. etc. So many repairs this year, sure wish homes were selling.

I've wondered where you were Ava, so glad you checked in this morning. I've missed you, especially on the morning post. We all know we have to do, what we have to do at times. Hope you can check in enough, and let us know how you're doing ok.

Have a Great day everyone, for those that are on the road, safe travels.

It's noon here already and the marine layer has finally burned off and let the sun thru. Suppose to be in the low 80s today.
I arrived home this morning, after camping since Monday AM, to find my neighbor and his son has replaced part of my fence in the backyard. One post was rotted at the ground and the fence was leaning. I got a new post and quite a few new cedar boards replaced, then all pressure washed and stained! They also got some free gravel from another neighbor that had some leftover, and made a French drain along the bottom so the fence wouldn't stand in water. Looks great! Now I need to wash and restain the rest of the fence. Wonder what the son is doing for the rest of the summer!??! I am so overflowing with blessings in my life!!
I do think I'll take a nap before cleaning out Little Missy. She did good for me with her new stablizers and sway bars. The wind was horrific and she handled great for me! Such a great investment! Thanks everyone (Sharon :D ) for keeping on me about getting those!!
I did have problems with the thermostat in that the slide that adjusts the temp isn't working. So when the AC was on it ran and ran until my nose froze. If I turned on the heat, it ran and ran until I was sweating. SOoooo.. I didn't use anything. Luckily it was so windy there was a constant breeze thru the RV and at night I just snuggled closer to Choco (furbaby), and added more blankets.
Great pictures of your beloved pond, Soos! I fell in love with the movie On Golden Pond and wanted a cabin like theirs. Still do.
Carol glad you are feeling much better but listen to your body. When it gets tired, rest! :D
Oh, when I'm reading everyone's morning posts I have so many comments and then forget when I get typing...
I do want to wish everyone a great day and please take care.
I'm thinking, praying, cheering, encouraging, hugging, dancing..whatever you need, I'm here!!

Lenora, loved the pics in your other post - but your comment here about the On Golden Pond cabin made me want to tell that story. On Golden Pond was filmed in NH. The people filming searched and searched and found the location and cabin they wanted to use on Squam Lake. It was a small one story cabin owned by a doctor. They wrote up the contract, which included that everything be returned exactly how it was received. Then they proceeded to add a 2nd floor to the cabin with 2 rooms to be used by the stars as dressing/relaxing rooms. I believe they added a bathroom up there for them. They added the gazebo and different areas outside. The movie was finished and one day the owner was there - and they said, oh, don't worry - we have the workers coming to change everything back. The owner looked around - and said "Oh, it's okay, don't bother - I'm ok with everything the way it is now". And that's how he got all the improvements on his lake cabin that they still enjoy today.

I loved taking a boat tour on Squam Lake and almost didn't - so glad I did :) I loved that movie too.
