Came across this website where they make yarn from pet hair.
I can remember all the hair from my labs and of course the hair
from my cocker spaniel. My cocker spaniel would have made some
great yarn, although I can't say I would have had any made, I just
thought the website was a bit interesting.

Ava, years ago when I bred Afghans... now I'm going way back here... I was introduced to a woman who traveled from Tibet and she had these special rugs.. I won two at a speciality.. and it was spun from the hair of Afghans... I was amazed at this story she told... and then later on I was in Lhasa's and again.. low and behold I met up with these people who were telling this story.. and yep I won a rug.. now these are not no 9x12 LOL but wall hanging.. and it was spun from the hair of the Lhasa's... Seems that in these countries.. nothing goes to waste... but Dogs were considered scared and their hair was used for keeping them warm...

I don't think my Rotties would make a rug..unless I decide to put them out of their misery LOL (Heavens to besty perrish the thought ) and they'd make a rug alright like them Polar bear ones...LOL

Must be I have too much time on my hands today.....brain wave fluster LOL

now I could imagine afghans and lhasa, wall hangings would be
a great idea, and then some little sweaters for them naked dogs.
