Gary & I were out this morning---- & I have already started putting together info for your goodie bags----
What I will be collecting- is there are like 900 different types of little booklets with info & coupons--& maps--fliers with coupons--- & & unless you live here to pick them up all around town--- it would take for ever to find the coupons you wanted---
What I'm going to do is put together bags full of different fliers & maps with coupons & etc etc----what you don't want or want to use--- please share with others---- along your travels!!
Beth there are 4 zip lines in Branson---- & THE BEST ONE----- COMES OFF THE TOP OF SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS LOOK OUT TOWER----- AWESOME--- I'll send ya info-------
Well if you read my Facebook page often---- there was a picture of our dear friend Terry
Wayne Sanders who plays about 50 different characters here in Branson at Shepherd of the Hills & Silver Dollar city & Big Cedar -etc etc-& his picture is on all the billboards & magazines advertising this Zip Line---- I'll try to find info links for ya--

Oh-forgot to tell ya------ I always put together a "goodie basket"----- & I put as many gifts as there are people in the tour group---- then I put-- an envelope with that many numbers & people draw a number as to what order they get to pick out what they want from the goodie basket------so please make for sure I have a correct head count before then-- as I don't want to leave anyone out!! Gifts range in price from $10.00 down--- it is our way of welcoming you to Branson & along with info-- etc etc- to hope you have a wonderful time!!!
The goodie basket always has things like Locally made Pumpkin butter & locally made BBQ sauce---Branson coffee mugs--- & that sort of thing-- as it all will come from Branson----- who ever is the last to pick gets the basket----
Also I need a head count of "fur children" on the tour---- as our two girls Missy & Mandy always have treats for the fur children on tour-- if that is OK with their parents for them to have!!!!!
Looking forward for you all to have the times of your life in Branson!!!! :D :D
If you don't it will be your own fault!!!

OO - you are going above and beyond. Will double check the count before we get there - but as to people right now - we have ... 8, I believe. Hopefully some others will decide to come yet.

Furbabies - everyone chime in - I'm at a count of 10 dogs, 1 cat here? More than people!
Me, 1
Tina - 3?
Sharon - 1 dog, 1 cat
Karen & Carole - 4 (sorry for forgetting Prissy!)
Carol D & tGM - o?
Carolyn - 1

edited to make corrections - any more anyone? Thanks Vickie.

Beth, I may be mistaken, but from our count on the AR GTG, Karen has 3 Buddy, Sassy and Sophie and Carole has 1 (Prissy), then Sharon has Chewy and Sam the cat.

here are some more links-- with info-----

Oh--- I didn't say before-but there are places ALL over Branson-- with 1/2 price tickets---- etc etc----- I mean every place in town--even the grocery stores-- to gas stations---- to shops with them--- etc etc----
and I have never listened to their sale--- so I don't know what their deals are--- as "Locals" we get into most all shows at "Area Appreciation" for $5.00 to $10.00 each show--& we have many many many friends who have their own shows here--that we get in free & we have many friends who play in bands at all the shows--- so we have never ever paid full price for tickets!!
I don't think there are many of the 500 plus shows in Branson- that Gary & I have not seen & many up to a dozen times & more!!! Some of the shows the girls have picked or mentioned going see shows that --- ARE NOT OUR FAVORITES!!! But--it depends on your own choices!!
We do have some really really good shows here!!!
Oh-- I forgot to say also---- that for those wanting to save money-- & still see really good talent- that a "Center Stage" which is on the 76 Strip in a shopping mall-- that also has a walmart store--- on Center Stage every day of the week---- there is FREE entertainment!! These people work for tips & also to sell their CD's --there are people like Jackson Cash Johnnie Cash's nephew---some really really good talent there----We love to go there--- many who have their own shows in Branson--- started out on Center Stage in Branson!!! :D Just a suggestion------

Thanks for the offer for the cat treats, OO, but Sam won't eat them...he won't even eat chicken or tuna..he's strictly a dry cat food kind of guy. He's quite the "dude". Chewy, on the other hand, is like me, pretty much a garbage disposal. That is so sweet of you tho to think of the fur babies. We certainly have our share of them!

And thanks also for all of the info and the goodie bags...that's a lot of work for you and we surely do appreciate it.

OK I extended our stay from 3 nights to 5 nights. I figures we could possibly get some discount tickets when we arrived so I didn't make any show reservations yet. A zip line tour????? Isn't that where they strap you into a harness and push you off a mountain??? That might be fun.

That's the one that's strictly for speed and thrills, and that would be ok, but I would rather go on the scenic 1 hour one...plenty of thrills, but scenic too, thru the nature preserve.
