LOLOLOL...I sure hope not. But I think I won't be trying to pet the little beast again unless I have some raw beef in my hand...
Luckily, my little beast is staying home. She's fine with humans, unless you try to sniff her ass.

Oh, by the way, revised itinerary published...(first page, second post)

I'm so excited, too, to see old friends and meet new friends...
I just can't believe I'm wishing my summer away to get to mid-September!!!
(well, that, and leaving behind this heat wave...heat index ranges between 100 and 120 the last week or so...)

The group has grown to a point where we're going to need more tables than Vickie & I have for serving food .
Any portable tables out there that are willing to travel to Arkansas and be put to good use?

..

I just went back and searched the pictures that Vickie posted and looks like the picnic tables are of the lighter variety and not chained down, so we could maybe move a couple into whatever site we're using for the meals and such if we need to.

And I'm bringing a 4'...and last time, with less than half this group, we ran out of table space - at least enough to make it comfortable and spacey. That would be wonderful if the picnic tables can be moved!!! Vickie - tell me NOT to buy another 4 footer from Sam's...

Okay, I'm back to the bed...

The gift should be inexpensive, around $5 or so. It can be anything, something you have around the house, something from a resale shop, something the in-laws gave you, or ex  , just whatever, doesn't have to be anything new, just sorta use your imagination, it doesn't matter if anybody else wants it or not, somebody will end up with it! :?

I have a 4' table that comes along for the ride. We can add that to the grouping. Wow, this is getting to be really good size GTG. Just like the rest of you all, I am looking forward to September and meeting all of you sistahs.

About moving/removing tables from sites....that usually is a no no in a camp ground. :? I bet that there are enough smaller tables that can come and be shared to serve the purpose....figure it might be like "Stone Soup" If everyone that has one to share ...shares...there we have it :D And not everyone actually eats at the table but many used their chairs.....it will all be good :)

Can we remind ourselves how many kayaking women are coming...just another possible activity. Beth will have her new one by then....Tina hasn't decided since her order of the other week was canceled by the company. :(

And I love Vickie's explanation/suggestions for the gifts. The name Traveling Flamingo Gift Exchange is being used because it made as much (well actually MORE) sense as/than "White Elephant"

Ah, kayaking. Got mine. But I don't know if you'd consider me a kayaker - would never keep up with those of you who do it regularly. For me - it's mainly a toy. And I just take my time to get somewhere - always figuring I need to get back :) I have very little upper body strength - so do intend to use it to help build that - and maybe eventually - would be able to kayak with you real kayakers. That said- wouldn't be afraid to start out wtih ya.

Edited to say - I haven't even inflated this kayak yet lol - but yes, I intend to have fun with it. Already don't like the case - but that was what others had mentioned. Kayak folds up way smaller than the case - might have to see if I can reconfigure the case to be smaller, also.

Which is why you need the Body Blast class! Go to Walmart and pick yourself up a set of 3# and 5# weights and we'll have you whipped into shape in no time!!

I can vouch for that. She really is very quiet and shy in person. We'll have to try and get her drunk.
I, on the other hand, am obnoxious either drunk or sober.

I have weights - I think 3 lbers - that I'm not using like I should. If I ever get so that those don't weigh a ton- I'll consider getting 5 lbers. That said - I'm not against tryingyour class - however, if it means setting my alarm clock to exercise - that would make me cranky when I went to bed, and I'd be worse in the morning. Can you tell I'm not a morning person. Now, if you keep me up all night, then, maybe, I can do a morning exercise class.

Back in the day when I went to the health club - you never saw me there mornings. I can walk mornings - after I wake up naturally - and that's difficult :)
