Absolutely beautiful pictures, Beth! I looked at a bunch of them, some again, some for the first time. YOur sunrise pics from today are really spectacular! Your little sparrow looks like a chipping sparrow, if I can see it clearly enough. Markings look just like my book says for a chipping sparrow.

Thanks for posting these!

..

Really lovely pictures.
And I like the fact that your horizons are all 'straight'!!
(or that you put the bottom of your viewfinder parallel to the horizon...)

Beth, what beautiful pictures! Nothing like waking up to a water view. There is something so special about being by the water with a campfire in the background. Love it!

Cheers!

I try to keep my horizons straight - I'm dingy enough - don't need to get dizzy because I hold the camera crooked.

Thank you for being patient for us to bring us such a beautiful sunrise. I'm more of a sunset person so love to enjoy what others share.

I'm not a morning person, either. But if I can't have sunsets on the water - I need to somehow get the sunrise. In my youth that meant staying up all night and did it occasionally. Rarely do it now, but it happened without trying. Now, if I had a site on the water, I'd actually set my alarm - watch the sunrise from my window - or go out if nice out - then go back to bed. Sunsets are so much easier.

But I really needed that time this morning. Was very good for me. So I'm glad I couldn't sleep last night! And glad you are all enjoying the pictures.
