Home Sweet Home

Got back to Kerrville yesterday. Am staying at the KOA instead of Guadalupe. Just couldn't put up with Guadalupe's live bands anymore. I actually like the KOA much better. Its smaller and very quiet. I have a great site off to the side with no one behind me and a nice yard for the dogs and they're $100 cheaper. They have propane and gas on site and the gas is as cheap as in town. The pool is nice and warm so I plan to run a couple of errands today then just hang around the pool. Soooooo glad to be home even in August.

Welcome home Karen!
Next time I can get up to the cabin, I'll holler at you - have you over for dinner or something>

Looks nice, Karen, but also looks like you're one of the few who likes it there in the summer ;) Nice to have the peace and quiet for awhile. After living out here in the woods by myself, I found it hard to live in my temporary site in the campground during the flood. I felt like I was babysitting...kids and adults!

Welcome Home Karen! Looks like a nice quiet spot to re-group and get your business taken of.

I recognize those spots. There are some nice areas to walk in the housing area behind the cg, too. Glad you made it safely back. The house "Get'er Done". See you in Sept if not in Aug.

Glad you got "home" safely. And glad you like the new spot and the quietness of it. At least it'll be quiet while all the sites around you are empty - probably most of the summer :) Enjoy it.

I'm sure you're glad to be back in Texas, even if it is in the hot summer.
Looks like you have a small tree for some shade, might have to move your chair around as the sun moves.

No, Ava, it doesn't cool off much at night - stays in the 70's and its pretty humid all summer. Not sure how full this park gets in the winter. Its quite a ways out of town so we'll see. But since Guadalupe had over 300 sites and this park only has 41 hopefully it won't seem so crowded.

Starting to look forward to Arkansas.

I am so hating Arizona right now. I'll be over it though as soon as it cools off.

hey Karen! Glad you're back on friendly turf! Looks like that is a better spot, too! G.river park was pretty but I vote for the smaller and even cheaper one too! Good move! Enjoy the rest of the summer and hope your a/c keeps ya'll cool. Hugs to the pups and to your visitors that I might know!

Loved the pics! How far out of town is the KOA? How is Sprinter? Is she still there in K'ville?

Later!
