I will be flying into Kalamazoo July 26th (Monday afternoon), then will be transported to the Mccamly Plaza Hotel in Battle Creek. Tuesday and Wednesday I will be attending a training class for work. Thursday, I would have been flying home.
Before my ankle accident, I made reservations to stay in Battle Creek until Sunday morning (on my own nickel). My flight plans were also booked for a returning trip home on Sunday, August 1. So, Thursday thru Saturday, I am free to do what I want. I leave early Sunday morning to return home.
I won't be able to explore the area like I intended, since I only have one good foot.
So, I am going to make the best of it. I will have access to a wheel chair while at the hotel. I am not sure If I am able to take it out the hotel, but I will have my crutches with me. I will probably hang out at the pool. I may rent an auto and drive around the town and other surrounding towns enjoying the view.
If any of the sisters of Women RV that may live in the surrounding area (if any), maybe we can meet up, have lunch or dinner.
