GOOD MORNING ALL!
It's a comfy 64 degrees out there so far today, with the sky getting more and more overcast. We had some pretty wild winds last night just before dark, and an inch of rain fell in about 25 to 30 minutes! The lightning and hail stayed south of us, however, for which I am very thankful, as was Molly. The trailer was rocking and rolling for a short time.
Let's see what's on the schedule for today. If it's going to rain some more, the last bit of mowing I didn't get to yesterday, and the leanto fixing-up will have to wait----and I will head to Plattsburgh for some Ruckus supplies and a high, foldable-uppable chair for my computer 'desk' (table) here in the trailer. I saw them there the last time I went to either Walmart or Target----can't remember which store it was----and knew I should probably have bought one. ($30.00) I just hope there are still some left. Actually, I will wait until tomorrow, Monday, to go there, as I want to stop at the RV dealers too to check on how to install my new door holder-opener that I bought. So that leaves house chores for today...ACK! Sorting through stuff, maybe scanning some pics and saving them on thumbdrives.
I hope you all are surviving the heat wave I am hearing about on the news. I guess the first 6 months of this year have been the warmest on record. I am loving it up here in the mountains, but suspect it might be a bit too hot for me at triple digit temps.
Time to get moving, as I luxuriated in bed this morning, watching some TV news and waiting for the sun to get shining through my rear window. I also watched a great program on the History channel in the middle of the night about Egyptian pyramids. As Beth mentioned, it's so nice to not have to panic about sleep deprivation if I stay up later or find something neat to watch in the middle of the night and then sleep in later in the mornings! I could certainly get used to this lifestyle!
Stop in for some coffee and some sharing of your life! Happy Sunday! (It IS Sunday, isn't it??)
