Fishing for Deer

I don't think these guys got too much fishing done. Notice in the 2nd pic - one of those guys is in the last couple pics below - obviously not fishing.

I'm thinking the fawn was looking for a mom, eh?

Where was that? It's neat, but makes me worry about the little deer. What was that guy in the last two pics wearing around his neck?

I worry about the deer, also. But would have loved to have been the one there being snuggled by it.

No clue as to either of your questions (but I could be a smart-a** and say on a river) - was emailed to me as is. I'm guessing whatever is around his neck has to do with his fishing.

What is on the guy's neck, is a lanyard commonly used by fly fishers.
It has spools of "tippet" - either monfiliment or flouricarbon line.
Many fly fishers also have nippers, and hemostats attached, or other tools necessary.

Aren't we an amazing group? One of us always seems to have the correct answer. Guess that means we're a pretty diverse group, huh?

How cute...I think I wouldve put my fishin gear down and played too. Strange how the little love bug had no fears. Amazing.
