Outta here and heading home

Spoke to the owner this AM about the electrical problem and when was he planning on getting it fixed. Told him that having to run on my generator was costing me money and soon I would have to disconnect and go get gas - A ROYAL PAIN!!! He just blew me off so said that I just couldn't afford to stay. The people next to me are leaving tomorrow for the same reason. Between the cost of gas and RV sites getting here and getting home plus using all my gas for my generator I think this workamping job has cost me more that I've made. Gonna rethink this working only for site; that's if I even do it again.

Am also pretty tired of dealing with their plumbing problems - one of the toilets in the men's room plugs up EVERY day. Didn't agree to do disgusting plumbing - agreed to do housekeeping. I wouldn't mind if it was once in a while but its EVERY day. I happen to know there's a woman here in the park who's interested in doing the housekeeping so they won't be left in the lurch. Tried talking to owner but he just says plumbers are expensive.

May spend a few days in Deming at the place that has a nice indoor heated pool. Have never used the pool here this year - they keep it at 80-85 degrees and call that heated. Again, he doesn't want to spend money on the propane to heat it.

I always believe things happen for the best. Now I can get home and deal with my slow paying rentors and maybe selling the house.

I've been wondering how all that was working out with the electricity, sad they want people to come to the campground and work and stay there, but they don't want to make things right. Well, take a bit and relax in Deming before you have to deal with the house. Safe travels to you, Buddy, Sassy and Sweet Sophie!

I kept my mouth shut last year - as I wasn't overwhelmed with that cg - or with the owners when visiting you. But you liked it there and that's what mattered. Unfortunately, it sounds like things changed. You go enjoy yourself somewhere. To heck with them!

That's why your house has wheels! Enjoy the trip home and sorry the owner has been such a poop!

Well, guess that takes care of where and when I'll get my flamingo glass! Was hoping to get it in Silver City, but will have to wait for the Ar GTG! Smart girl for not taking their crap anymore. I was wondering how the electrical problem was going and now we have the answer! Must not be the same folks that own that KOA as when DH and I were there many years ago, altho you never know. Drive safe, take care of business and we'll see you in Arkansas! Sounds like you really need a shot of Alligator Piss!!

Have a good and safe trip back, Karen. Boot those slow-payers out, get that house sold, and head on up to Petit Jean for some Alligator Piss, a Carolyn's Cooler or two, a Buttery Nipple (gotta come up with a different name), and Puddin' Shots! We'll all solve those electrical problems over cocktails! Oh, wait - that would be dangerous, especially if Sharon's drinking...

Travel safe! See you in a couple of months!

Safe travels, Karen. I keep looking at my map to see if I would swing down to Silver City to meet you, but timewise it wouldn't work out. Maybe some other time.
